Did Fox just refer to Prince Charles as "Tony Blair" not once but twice?
Posted on 11/18/2003 12:36:07 PM PST by jmcclain19
I was watching coverage of Air Force One touching down and President Bush's arrival in London on Fox at work in the lunch room, where Prince Charles was there to greet him.
I heard the Fox news anchor, who's name now evades me, call Prince Charles "Tony Blair" when referring to "those two leaders walking down the tarmac" not once but twice.
At least Laurie Dhue got it right both times.
Perhaps the leading cable network should have a world leader instruction class for some of its anchors.

Wow, what's with Shep? I thought his miscues were mostly of the rhyming variety.

It could be worse, they could put Greta on 24/7 and we'd be treated to ALL LACI PETERSON, ALL THE TIME: Watch in amazement as GRETA retraces the steps that LACI used to take when walking her dog! Watch in amazement as we show you the backyard of the house where LACI and SCOTT had cookouts!

as serious as can be, my coworkers and I were a little befuddled at first, then the anchor did it a second time, as they were reshowing the clip.
The quote was along the lines of "There walking down the tarmac is President Bush and Tony Blair" both times.

Craig Jarret was the well informed Fox news anchor. Of course Roger Ailes made up for his mistake in hiring Jarret by employing Laurie Dhue.

Has anyone but me noticed that Shep doesn't look well?
Something is very wrong with Shep physically.

That's alright. Yesterday one of the MSNBC weenies said that Arnold S. was born in Australia.
Helluva "down under" accent, what?

I often wonder if Shep Smith is stoned when he does the news.
