I love when places like Blockbuster asks for your SSN no. or when Radio Shack asks you for all your personal info short of a stool sample just to buy a $2.35 telephone jack.

That's because stool sample is primarily what Radio Shack sells. If you already had a pile of crap for them to sample, you wouldn't have to go to Rat Shack to buy a pile of crap.
