Mrs.Bush in London
On FOXNEWS | 1121-03 | Me

While watching President and Mrs. Bush shaking hands with the Queen outside the Palace and then waving to the cameras, I was struck with the vision of Jackie Kennedy-ish style of Mrs. Bush. Very self confident and yet still one that knows just how to conduct herself in the presence of world leaders.

She makes the former occupier of that post look like a pole-dancer.

Hillary whatever her name is....is the perfect representation of FEMINAZI.

Mrs. Bush is the perfect representation of a woman with intelligence and class.

And I say...FORGET the "Jackie Kennedy-ish style" -- Mrs. Bush has a style all her own, and it's NOT Jackie Kennedy-ish! She has absolutely nothing in common with Jackie K. -- never has / never will! She's her "own woman" with her own style/own uniqueness...and I for one, admire that immensely. Jackie Kennedy APPEARED to be a lovely woman...now doubt she was, although whenever she spoke, her "mousy voice/tone" was a bit grating on the nerves, IMHO. Mrs. Bush, though, is WHO she is within her own right...not having to emulate/nor ever emulating the style of ANY former first lady nor anyone else for that matter! (and I think she should be credited for that) -- she truly IS "her own woman!" (AND...one more thing...a woman who not only KNOWS her man...but a woman who LOVES her man just the same...and IT SHOWS! ... oh, how fortunate for him!)

Laura was a teacher and librarian and those two professions do not put up with any monkey business. She is a lady in the true sense of the word and you are right, she is her own woman. She seems to just become more beautiful every day!

And one more thing...."He" is a man who knows AND appreciates just how special and loving SHE is to him. I can't help but think that his thought(s) would be something like this..."I'm NOTHING with her." and/or "She COMPLETES me." (Personally, I'm happy for both of them...they soooooooo complement one another!)

I am a HUGE admirer of Laura Bush, especially for her promotion of literary programs. I am hoping that she might take a look at Some Came Running by James Jones. It is now our Freeper Reading Club assignment and I am absolutely floored by how incredible it is. It is easily the BEST look at life in a small town in mid-20th century America. I don't just consider Some Came Running to be A great American novel---I consider it THE Great American Novel. Every literate American should read this book. It's INCREDIBLE beyond belief.

When Some Came Running came out nearly 50 years ago, it was savaged by critics. There are several reasons for this which I will get into during our discussion on this novel in January. However, on reading this book now, this is most definitely the BEST look at American life and a MUST READ for every literate American. I hope Mrs. Bush places this book into her reading program. < /PSA>

I've always thought Laura was kinda hot, in a Marian the Librarian sort of way. And Marian was a very hot librarian.

Thanks for posting the photos. A good friend of Laura Bush just asked me yesterday if I have seen any photos of Laura in London.... They are old friends from Texas. I just copied and pasted those and sent them to Anne K. She will LOVE them. She was a guest of George and Laura at his inauguration, sat right behind the family. She always got invited to the Christmas parties, etc., at the Bush Texas Gov. mansion while he was gov. here. (I didn't! darn!)

I can't tell you how it sickens me to even think about HC ever becoming president. I never thought I could despise two individuals more than I do her and the big "he" (small by comparison, in my book)....God help us all the day she ever gets elected POTUS....Personally, I think we're doomed already....but her election would only cement the "deal" and move us into the "end game" that much more rapidly, I'm afraid.
