I just saw the footage of his first appearance on TV! Those guys couldn't get to their feet and start cheering FAST ENOUGH! They literally ALL jumped when they saw him!

Iam in awe of our President!! what a wonderful thing to do also very scary.
this is a man who thinks of all of us and he really cares about the troops and today iam so thankful that President Bush is our leader and what a leader he is!
the democrats are not having a good thanksgiving and this is good,and then there is the witch's trip to afganistian,hehe she has been upstaged and this is also good!

I am in anguish because I am cable impaired! LOL Thanks all for putting up stills. ABC carried footage for a while but I want to see the troops when he first surprised them. A riend said it brought tears to her eyes... to theirs too, no doubt! God Bless President Bush!

When I first heard of this I thought it was a joke! No joke and this is the greatest thing for those troops for their morale. I cant imagine how the Secrete Service coped with this. No doubt whole cases of malox are being consumed by them now.

It must have been a great shock too the First Lady. She must know that W is the #1 target of the terrorist, yet the President is flying right into the snakepit! I feel for her, but that's one of the price of Freedom that must be paid. God Bless the President and the First Lady of this great land.
