Look for this to be the liberal/Democrat strategy and talking point in the months to come. Praise troops/bash Bush policy. Praise troops/bash Bush policy. Help the troops by 'bringing them home.' Yadayadayada.

Now let's strategerize ourselves on some potent counter arguments...commit these to memory, and fire these salvoes at them, early and often, each and every time they open their sorry mouths with this kind of anti-American argument.

Laura was discussing this topic on her talk radio show this morning on KRLA around 9:15 AM EST.

She had audio clips from Today's Today Show.

We are a military (reserve) family. Do not for one minute believe that our troops buy into Hillary, like her, or respect her. At best, they tolerate her.

Sure, there are a few misguided ones everywhere, but ask just about anyone who endured the cutbacks, the broken aircraft, the lack of equipment, parts and fuel, the downsizing of the force, and the social experiment that the Clintons inflicted upon the military during the 1990s and they will emphatically tell you why you should never vote for either of them for anything ever again.

They are evil...pure evil, and that is being kind.

Notice the pure elation from the crowd as President Bush surprised the troops on Thanksgiving? Then take notice of the small camera shots of Hillary gnawing on her turkey, and how few of our troops are actually around her. Half of them are senior officers responsible for Hillary getting back on her broom. Notice too, the serious, sometimes flat expressions on the unfortunate few who were Crazy Glued to Hillary's photo-ops? No one is ever waiting in line to shake her hand. Most know she is rotten to the core.

That said, I have felt for a long time that those serving in the US military ought to be allowed to cast two ballots for their Commander in Chief. After all, they are the extension of the President who ensure domestic tranquility, who provide for the common defense, and secure the blessings of our liberty.

Then again, getting their votes (voices) to count at all needs to come first...

If our military were not so gracious she would have been boo'd out of Bagdad. Sheesh, I didn't see even one soldier seem pleased by her visit.

What we're doing now is not an effective strategy

That is the sound bite they are using. That is meant to be Clinton and the media's take-home message.

I don't watch these shows, but this morning I saw the opening promo for the Today show. It showed a Hillary in Iraq montage and then voiced over "what did she find out?" (or something to that effect).

Cut to Hillary staring point blank in to the camera saying rather derisively:
What we're doing now is not an effective strategy

The entire point of this trip was to say that and put that line forth.

I think it will back fire. Even if it were true, her attitude and timing make her very callous and creepy to those who aren't particular;y political and shift their support from party to party and politician to politician.

I'm listening to KRLA on-line and she is all over Hitlery on this topic.

Hillary solemnly opined that we "don't have enough of the right mix of troops" in Iraq.

Pure and utter Blathering from the wretched one. What exactly is that supposed to mean? "Right mix of troops". Did she run out of negative things to say about GWB and this is her latest "off the cuff" comment? It sure appears to be the case.

I AM SICK OF THE LIBERAL PRESS!!! Yes I was shouting. They rag on FOX but the left is so obvious with their hate for the conservs and Bush. It is a photo op if Bush does any thing. But for Hillary to parade all over Iraq with her cameras folling her around it is just cause. They make my blood BOIL... I fliped over and watched Katie and Hillary love fest this morning and it make me ill. I also watched the Sunday CBS show where they had Hillary and her best buddy. IF FOX DID THAT OMG! The hilter fox carrying sign lady would have a field day.

You've hit on one of the worst moments from Hillary's appearance. Here she was, second-guessing and micro-managing troop deployments, substituting her "expert" judgment for that of the military and civilian commanders.

She reeled off her spiel about needing "more MPs, intelligence and civil affairs troops" as if she were an expert, rather than someone whose experience in troop deployment consisted of ordering soldiers on White House duty to serve pigs-in-a-blanket.

It is a photo op if Bush does anything. But [it's fine]for Hillary to parade all over Iraq with her cameras following her around.

Katie Couric's ultimate hypocrisy was to invite Hillary to bash Pres. Bush's trip as a photo op while not raising the issue of the political motivations behind Hillary's trip.

For a fair journalist, the obvious question would have been along the lines "President Bush's trip has been criticized in some quarters as a photo op. What would you say to those who describe your trip in the same terms?"

Instead, Couric asked a totally one-sided question, ignoring the political motivations behind Hillary's trip and focusing only on the possible ulterior motives behind the president's trip.

The simple answer is that it's been medically established that I *can't* "stomach" them. Since beginning these semi-regular posts on liberal bias on The Today Show, I've been diagnosed with acid reflux and now pop a daily Nexium or Protonix!

What? Hillary likes the military, just not the AMERICAN military. It's such a ragtag bunch of know-nothings with no real sense of style. She's especially fond of goose stepping armies because they show such discipline and respect for their dictators.

Here's a link to a World Net Daily article on the matter:

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=33305

They have it as follows: "When asked on ABC's "The View" if she had ever seen two women having sex, her response was vintage Coulter:

'Not since Katie Couric interviewed Hillary Clinton – that was the last time.'"

The Darwin Awards

First Place Candidate for this year's Darwin Awards:
When his 38 caliber revolver failed to fire at his intended victim during a holdup in Long Beach, California, would be robber James Elliot did something that can only inspire wonder: He peered down the barrel and tried the trigger again. This time it worked.

And now, the honorable mentions:

In a demoralizing message to U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq, visiting New York Sen. Hillary Clinton told them that Americans back home are growing increasingly skeptical of President Bush's decision to send them into battle.

The chef at a hotel in Switzerland lost a finger in a meat cutting machine and, after a little hopping around, submitted a claim to his insurance company. The company, suspecting negligence, sent out one of its men to have a look for himself. He tried the machine out and lost a finger.
The chef's claim was approved.

A man who shoveled snow for an hour to clear a space for his car during a blizzard in Chicago returned with his vehicle to find a woman had taken the space. Understandably, he shot her.

After stopping for drinks at an illegal bar, a Zimbabwean bus driver found that the 20 mental patients he was supposed to be transporting from Harare to Beltway had escaped. Not wanting to admit his incompetence, the driver went to a nearby bus stop and offered everyone waiting there a free ride. He then delivered the passengers to the mental hospital, telling the staff that the patients were very excitable and prone to bizarre fantasies. The deception wasn't discovered for 3 days.

An American teenager was in the hospital yesterday recovering from serious head wounds received from an oncoming train. When asked how he received the injuries, the lad told police that he was simply trying to see how close he could get his head to a moving train before he was hit.

Hillary also insisted on talking about Afghanistan. Her take: Karzai administration doing a good job trying to bring country together, but we need to improve security, secure borders and get NATO more involved.

What does the North Atlantic treaty Organization have to do with Afghanistan?

During the rapist term in office, the folks in uniform had to be told to be 'nice', mind their manners etc. and no loaded guns. I will never forget that campaign photo-op of the traitor marching 20 feet in front of soldiers coming up a hill with some flight jacket on and the familiar smirk on his face. It was an affront to every red-blooded American who knew the fake president was a disrespected CiC; maybe those were Hollywood extras. Hillary's disrespect for the military is legion and well documented; she doesn't fool many!

Keep a close watch on the coming election in 2004, FL Dems will most likely try some of the same old stunts. Will be keeping a close watch here on your beloved Southwest desert.

Bill Clintonista's regime is the main reason my husband left active duty.

My neighbors are all hanging chad Democrats. Our house was the only one with a JEB sign for the last governor's election.

And you know what...I have learned to annoy my peacenik tree-hugging open border ill-informed neighbors, in the easiest of ways. A few years back, I began my collection of W, JEB, GOP, etc. t-shirts. I must own about 30 items, my favorite being the one about making Hillary's life miserable...which I rotate nicely for maximum effect. I love wearing them to mommy groups and such, because I win the debate every time. I think I have converted three nannies to date!!

I am going to educate South Florida, one nanny, one illegal at a time.

And speaking of illegals...as soon as I can get back to the arid lands again, I'm more than ready to saddle up and lasso the desert-littering lawbreakers with anyone who wants to go riding.
