If a "big three" broadcast network collapses in the forest, and nobody hears it, does it make a sound?

I didn't see any "email people who might care" section. I'm sure they don't want to hear from me.

But in case any Showtime Reps monitor FR: I do not subscribe to Showtime nor will I EVER subscribe to Showtime.

And for CBS: My last cable system allowed me to delete your socialist mouthpiece of an "entertainment" channel, but my current one does not. Though rest assured that I will not EVER turn your filthy little station on.

On the good side, I find that the less TV I watch, the less stress I have and the healthier I feel.

If 56% of the people who responded didn't vote for President Reagan in either 1980 or 1984, that would put them in the minority and to the left.

They needed a couple of other poll questions:

Did you not watch The Fake Reagans on Viacom-Showtime because you cancelled your Showtime subscription because you didn't want to fund such tripe?

Did you boycott Viacom(mie) and their properties (eMpTyV, VH-1, SeeBS, Nick, Spike, TV Land, Simon & Schuester, Viacom radio...) since you don't pay for Showtime?

Do you wonder when SeeBS will be producing a telefilm drama that depicts X42 receiving oral sex on Easter Sunday while heads of state are made to wait in the Rose Garden? One that depicts Linda Bloodworth-Thomason and actress Marky Post behaving like spoiled rotten schoolchildren jumping up and down on the bed in the Lincoln bedroom? One that shows X42 receiving oral sex while he is deploying troops overseas? One that shows X42 having a conversation with his advisors authorizing a bombing run in Iraq on the verge of his impeachment voting saying "This ought to get that Monica story off the front pages!"?

"If 56% of the people who responded didn't vote for President Reagan in either 1980 or 1984, that would put them in the minority and to the left."

That's not necessarily true. I freeped Showtimes stupid poll, but didn't vote for Reagan in 80 or 84. I would have, but I was 5 years old in 80 and 9 in 84. However, as soon as I was able, I voted for Dole in 96.

Did you vote for Ronald Reagan in either 1980 or 1984?

A very large portion of the current population that is elligible to vote will have to answer NO to this question:

Consider that anyone who was 17 in 1984 is 37 today (and that today's 18 year old voter wasn't even born yet).

Consider too all of the people who have immigrated or become citizens since 1984.

Push polling at its best (See, no one actually voted for Reagan...)

It's a push poll, Viacom is getting the result that they want for that statistic.

I was stumped by question #1...
Did you watch The Reagans on Showtime?
Yes
or
No

There wasn't a response for, "Sort of...I watched Lazamataz's live thread on Free Republic"

Good answer.

Some people may respond that they read the PDF of the original script.

I went to read their message board and there is no lurking allowed, you have to sign up. I refuse to join up with Viacommie based on principle.
