Nothing we've seen proves that AirForce-1 ever left US airspace.

Nothing we've yet seen proves this guy's parents weren't first cousins, either. :)

"totally mad"

NO! They're totally stupid. The video clearly shows Bremmer and clearly shows 2 people from the governing council .. and Bush met with 4 members of the council and Bremmer for an hour.

Since Bremmer was in Iraq and so were the other people .. this was truly a MIRACLE meeting indeed!!

"US President George W. Bush (news - web sites) (C) poses with representatives of he Iraqi Governing Council . . . "

If you examine the shadows on Bush's face, you can clearly tell that his head was superimposed on the body of another person. And there is a row of nude statues behind that blue curtain, which was brought in at the insistence of John Ashcroft.

"Does it really matter which one is real?...."

Better yet, maybe we are all trapped in some sort of giant computer simulation called the matrix.

"The Matrix is everywhere, it's all around us, here even in this room. You can see it out your window, or on your television. You feel it when you go to work, or go to church or pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth...."

Was it totally impossible to drag Bremer (in total secrecy) to show his face?

So we're either to believe that:

a) Bush is a cowboy for flying into dangerous territory
b) Bush is a coward for secretly flying into dangerous territory
c) An absolutely masterful media manipulator for pulling off the media hoax of the (albeit young) decade.

Sheesh...

I'll take d) a responsible commander in chief who wanted to give a morale boost to the men and women that he sent to fight a just war...if it earns him some political points, bonus!

I'm not so sure it's real. I've Googled several lines from this (not that google is the definitive answer) but it came up with nothing for any of them. I would think it would have been posted at some other website by now. Laz? You pulling our collective leg?! ;o)

Must be a relatively recent email. I got this from the other website (libertypost.org).

W'S FOES FLIP OUT
New York Post ^ | December 2, 2003 | John Podhoretz
Wayne Madsen has given me three full days of giggles, so I have to love the detestable little psycho for that--Here is a link to Madsen's original article. It has links to some discussions in the blogsphere and some e-mail responses by Madsen himself.
Wayne Madsen: Wag the Turkey - Surprise Thanksgiving Dinner at 6 AM?
Mark Steyn has written about Wayne Madsen's disability over here:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1031952/posts
Looks like Taranto over at WSJ's "Best of the Web" has picked up on the story:
A Stopped Clock Is Right Twice a Day(scroll down)
Your "Wagging the Media" followup still doesn't account for the fact that a 'dumb-as-dirt ordinary citizen' like me could figure out that the dinner was served in the P.M., while you 'sycophantically' reported it as A.M. I guess since I'm not a journalist, I'm not smart enough to make up new facts...
He did post a pretty lame followup
Madsen's bogus story is still making its way through the loony portion of the internet. The Counterpunch version is linked at anti-war site WHATREALLYHAPPENED.COM and is copied at the Jeff Rense site. Until Madsen issues a correction at the source, this lunacy will continue to spread -- to the great amusement of many like myself.

Heh-heh-heh. If there's any justice in this universe whatsoever, his name will quickly (and rightly) become synonymous with stupidity... the same way that Scott Ritter's name is synonymous with (oh, say) child molestation. :)

This is funny. I'm arguing with a newbie on another thread who came up with some quote by Rockerfeller and I asked him to source it. Well, I get all this Bilderburger/Trilateral-Commission/tinfoil stuff "just because somethings reported by the major media doesn't mean it's true"--(which somehow makes his unsourced quote more true?) blahblahblah. No source yet. Oh, and the media aren't in competition with each other, no, they're all in on the conspiracy.

Maybe I should ping him to this thread.
