We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.

Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

It's Lucy Day !!

We're so glad to hear of Miss Lucy's origin and how God guided her to just the right place, as is true of so many of our animal friends.
My own beloved cat, Binky, came to me at age two because his mother (my niece) was allergic to his semi-long hair.

It sounds as if Lucy has come through that frightening health scare with minimal damage. How thankful we are for that, deadhead!

I was just looking at pictures of the White House Christmas tree with past Presidents and First Lady's standing in front of them. I noticed how much closer Republicans stand with each other. The Clintons aren't touching at all. I wonder why? The closest couple were the Reagans. I miss Ronnie. My heart grieves for that family every time I think of him. God love him.
