Our military are where they were told to be.
Our politicians are still weighing one common American family against acting like a real American.

At $65 an acre you can hardly go wrong, they stopped making land a long time ago. I've often wanted to buy some even as an investment
Sure, but don't forget to factor in the cost of razor wire.

The problem as I see it, is that we who live near border towns have to have something really bad happen to get news coverage. It's all about Washington, LA, and NY.
To: CindyDawg
I guess the mexican army, invading the United States, kidnapping an American family is not bad enough, because I've seen zilch about it on the national news.

Something funny just happened. This story no longer appears on Newmax's headline news page.

I just love it when a so called conservative goes ballistic in defending the worlds oldest and most corrupt institution...blah blah blah...Everywhere the RC church has slithered...blah blah blah...they have been rendered incapable of entering the modern world by their backward looking religion.
I actually started laughing when I read this. I get a distinct mental image of you typing this out while waiting to hitch a ride on the Hale-Bopp comet after you shed your "vehicle". I just can't believe that after I emphasized not once, but twice, my request for a non-delusional explanation as to why the Catholic Church is to blame for Mexico's corruption, I still got this response from you.
Oh, and one more thing: ballistic? I haven't even used any swear words yet. You sure are sensitive.

Hmmm, the intersection of those bandoliers makes a mighty convenient point of aim.

It's interesting because it was the Mexican government who killed Pancho Villa (federales took him out) and Emiliano Zapata --- but they will make a big deal out of the US trying to get him. They get to play both sides on that.

but twice, my request for a non-delusional explanation as to why the Catholic Church is to blame for Mexico's corruption, I still got this response from you. The truth is --- the Mexican government is very anti-Catholic Church and has been since the Revolution. It's illegal in Mexico for a priest or nun to wear their collars or habits on the streets. Mexico is run by anti-clerics ---- the Church has no power in that government at all. Back when it was a more Catholic country we didn't see huge levels of immigration from Mexico either.
