From savior to assassin - How killer germs have defeated our last antibiotic

Pirod, my response to reading what was happening with antibiotic resistant strains was one I responded to out of pure logic.
The logic of history is that every so often a bug hits humans that wipes a large portion of us.

It makes us genetically superior.
It kind of filters out over population and IN HISTORY, things hit where people were living in larger populations.

Can we do anything about these kind of historic happenings of all kinds? NO we can not!

Would we miss the people who die? Sure.
Do we in our heart want suffering or heartbreak? No.

What on this earth can we control? This may not be one of them and we could be hit by stuff that wipes out half our population any time.

I think we are here for such a short time as it is.
We are down here as a test to see where we will spend our after life IMO.

Among the reason for our creation (including God's love) was to fill that part of heaven that was emptied when Satan rebelled and was cast out with his legions.

Gets complicated and we can have all kinds of philosophies, but for me it's about living your life as it comes, doing what you can, help and appreciate others and live the best life you can.

We know not when our time will end. We could live till 100 or die a day or so by getting ran over by a school bus full of nuns. You never know and we control very little in life.
