That is all well and good that you support the Iraqiot War, however the Republican elite as seen in the form of James Baker, believes the war poses as a threat to the re-election.
In response, you talk about why you think the war was justified even though know WMDs were found. Your response has nothing to do with the question. Any yet you keep posting why you believe the war was a positive thing. (Great, I am happy for you.)
I dropped neocons and started employing the term Iraqi Architects (defined as those in and out of the administration who pushed the Iraq War agenda.) You may think they don't exist, but other people do. Take your issue up with James Baker and Bush I.
Your next piece about the Amendment:
If you think Bush could not speak out in support of such an Amendment then you are simply wrong. You can apologize for him and explain why he hasn't and perhaps that suits you, but you are not making a convincing point to others who think he should be out there voicing support. Indeed, he said he was not sure there was a need for such an amendment; if you were even remotely competent in understanding politics, why say anything?
The rest of your pathetic post betrays that you are no friend on Bush, no friend of the Right, and no friend of liberty.

>> Christians have not abandoned Bush. Bush has abandoned Christians. He now favors Islam, it seems. Many life-long Republicans are in disgust at the wholesale compromises and abandoning of campaign promises to Christian Republicans (you know - the ones who put him in office) Bush has made.
I was astonished when he stated Islam and Christianity worship the same God. Many things he has said and done lately have been baffling, to say the least.

We may all criticize Bush from time to time on this forum. But in the end 95 percent of us are going to vote for him. But if Dean is elected don't worry about the Iraq war. He is committed to it and has said so repeatedly. No matter who is elected we are staying in Iraq for the long haul. And that will invite more terrorism not less.

"And that will invite more terrorism not less." Have you done any research into what happened in the months and years following the Guld War of 1990?
Saddam was allowed to stay in power, along with his incredibly brutal and wicked Baathist regime.
In the ensuing months and years after the end of the Gulf War, Saddam mass-murdered, tortured, raped, and plundered his own country.
The side effect: deep, prolonged hatred and resentment towards the United States for ABANDONING the Iraqi people for not removing Saddam during the Gulf War.
Other side effects were insignificant little events such as 9/11.
Nope, cutting and running would be tantamount to standing out in the middle of Times Square and everyone commencing to cut their own throats.
Won't happen.

I agree. We won't cut and run. Our continued stay in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia after the first Gulf War was the primary reason given by OBL for his attack of 9/11. Our presence in that region of world and in Iraq now will mean more dead American civilians due to terrorism.

I'm not worried about Dean with the Iraq War, even though you are completely wrong about him being committed to it. I'm worried that 8 years of him will finish the last of our foreign policy abroad and we will have nukes at our throat courtesy of his pandering to North Korea, China and Iran. What invited terrorism is the fact that we are the largest, most powerful country and capitalism stands in the way of socialism and islam's "holy destiny". Our very being is what makes us a desired target, weakness makes us an available one. We will be constantly hit by terrorism if we don't fight back... thanks to Clinton we didn't and got 9/11.
Don't worry about Dean becoming President? What, we are a big country and have lots of skyscrapers and cities to spare?

Yes. Calling the author of the article an "a-hole" is finnman69's infantile way of changing the subject.
Irrelevent. His hatred for the author matters more to him than defending Bush and marriage.
Yes. Finnman69 would rather call names to deflect discussion of neocons undermining the amendment.
