"Bush's base is dying".......... Not necessarily so for polling data is showing an increasing trend toward conservatism in high school and college age youth. They are realizing more and more their fate hangs in the balance of retaining more of their income less taxes due to dying and inept government programs. They also want to have a safe country for raising their kids and see Bush as more of a protector and back a strong military.

The defining word with Democrats when it comes to Dean is "desperation." At least that is the impression I get from democrats I encounter day to day. Listening to them, they seem to see him as dangerous enough to pull it off to get the nomination. They like clinton but they are humiliated by the bimbo erruptions.

The democrats are grabbing Dean (dr. feelgoodwithanger) the same way a drowning man will grab the point of a sword.
