The hard left decided long ago that President Bush is Hitler. In maddened corners of the Internet and at swastika-choked anti-war marches, Bush is shown with a Nazi uniform or a Hitler mustache.
But does everyone on the far left believe this?
Not at all. Some think that Vice President Cheney is the real Hitler. He commands America's "storm-trooper legions," said former right-wing crackpot and current left-wing crackpot Lyndon LaRouche. Others think Donald Rumsfeld is Hitler (both men favored mountaintop retreats, the Action Coalition of Taos points out).
Many on the left believe that either former White House spokesman Ari Fleischer or Bush adviser Karl Rove is Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels. Or maybe Pentagon adviser Richard Perle is related to Goebbels. The September issue of Vanity Fair suggested that Perle could be Goebbels' twin with side-by-side photos headlined "Separated at birth?"
Another vexing question about Rove: Is he Goebbels or Josef Mengele? Goebbels is the top choice among anti-war commentators, but a writer to the MetaFilter site said: "Karl Rove made up stories about John McCain, just as Josef Mengele conducted medical experiments on children in Auschwitz."
The common charge that Bush is Benito Mussolini is controversial many leftists insist that the Mussolini role is reserved for Tony Blair, the junior partner of Bush's Hitler.
Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz is a challenge to lefty analysts, some of whom think his intellectual background is fascist (Jeffrey Steinberg in Executive Intelligence Review), while others believe he has Bolshevik roots (he is Leon Trotsky's ghost, according to Canadian journalist Jeet Heer).
Anyone who calls the Bush people fascists will get no argument from Princeton Prof. Sheldon Wolin, who says, "We are facing forms of domination that exceed the old vocabulary." So if you feel like calling somebody a fascist, go right ahead.

Don't you love the way these people [leftists] argue? It's very unwise to argue with them. It's like trying to nail jello to the wall.

Hitler and Mussolini were Leftists - They both despised Capitalism.
Bush just destroyed the regime of an avowed Socialist.
Bush is the anti- Tyrant.
Leftism/Socialism is the enemy of freedom. The Lefties are just too dumb to know it.

Hot news flash:
Harvard University has extended an invitation to Saddam to teach. Saddam will have and endowed chair and the title of Distinguished Professor of Middle East Studies.
Estimated salary: whatever he wants.
Perks include a palace overlooking the Charles River and a gold-plated AK-47 for personal use.
Saddam has asked for 24 for hours to consider the offer as he is considering offers from other Ivy League colleges, plus Duke and Stanford.

"Yeah, right!" (See? 2 positives do make a negative!) Fascist leaders and nazi leaders have often throughout history put it all on the line to free 25 million people. There is something mentally wrong with these people, they are not deserving of notice or serious debate. Why do we treat them as if they are credible?

"Now the second kind you have in these parades seem to be
people who want to mislabel Hitler. Everybody in the world is Hitler. Bush
is Hitler, Ashcroft is Hitler, Rumsfeld is Hitler, the only one who isn't
Hitler is the foreign guy with the mustache dropping people who don't agree
with him into the wood chipper...He's NOT Hitler." - Dennis Miller

We shouldn't be hard on the left. There are some on the right who think that Bush's administration has created the Gestapo, and if you point out how asinine that makes them sound, they chant sarcastically "Republicans can do no wrong".
There are more idiots on the left than right, thankfully, but we have our own too.

Hitler was Hitler, and he's dead. The Liberal networks are the new Goebbels and guess who they want in power.

"...question the Left's patriotism?" Is it possible to question that which does not exist?

I like your tagline. I had a T-shirt one time that said: "There are few problems in life that cannot be solved by the application of high explosives!"

The leftwing is more desperate today, then at anytime in recent memory. Their rhetoric is filled with the invectives of a failed political agenda. They lash out with hatred towards anything and everything, with their main target being PresBush and his closet advisors. The GOP can only hope this outrageous behavioral pattern continues right up to election day 2004. If the liberal establishment carrys on in this fashion, the President will win in a landslide.
Republicans need to appreciate this self destruction that has taken hold of the Democratic Party and enjoy it for all its worth.
