How in the world do these people get Visas? That's what I'd like to know. The WH needs to step in and say/do something. To allow these scum not only entry, but the chance to spread their "message" would be an insult to all those who died on 9/11.

Chris Baker (KPRC) is on this and he is trying to round up a protest on the 27th. It looks like we have a lot of interest here so I guess we should call it a FReep and join with Chris.
The HAT Chapter will work up the details and post a thread and ping the interested parties.
*PING!*
As always, a FReep mail will get you on or off this Houston topics ping list.

I caught Baker last Friday, and I would say the things he was saying were quite...well, let's say he could be accused of insighting a riot. He said he wanted to go in there "with a bat and smash some heads". He is quite worked up over this.

Pls add me to any list regarding this Freep, it would be my first and couldn't be one more deserving. Maybe a little pressure on Intercontinental Hotel would help also.
To: Jalapeno
Baker had mentioned the 27th, but this needs Freeping every day the terrorist are there.

He is quite worked up over thisYes he is. He usually tempers those rash statements with a "That's not how do things here, though".

I knew if captured alive there would be a world/leftist revolt backing maybe the world's most hideous dictator, of course all in the cause of true justice. How many of these same countries/leftists consider Bush the individual who should be on trial? Good luck and merry holidays Mr Saddam from all of the dead and suppressed.

Texas Dawah has been able to negotiate a remarkable rateBTW, if anyone needs a room for that weekend you might use this group rate at the Crown Plaza ;-)

...well, let's say he could be accused of insighting a riot. He said he wanted to go in there "with a bat and smash some heads". He also said he wouldn't do that because he respects the rule of law. He was simply expressing what he would LIKE to do.

"Glad to help them on their way." Before a firing squad shoots them they should lead them all out into the court yard, bring in a pig, kill it right before their eyes, take the bandolier dip it in the pigs blood and then load the weapons with those shells and shoot each one individually while the others watch. I'll bet their attitudes change drastically.

Need to organize a presence everyday... You know how difficult it is to get folks out for one day. I will be lucky to make one. I say we focus on the 27th when Baker wants to be there.

How in the world do these people get Visas? The same way illegals get driver's licenses.

You bet...But the real deal is is that that (echhh) is exactly what they want to see in this forum, and when we do make a presense at this conference...
I think it IS agreeable that we need to make the time that the Al-Queda sympathisers are addressing this conference a vey uncomfortable time for the attendees...
