What I'm saying and what you are saying are no different, they just sit on seperate sides of an issue.
And if that makes me a communist, then you must be one too, since you are doing exactly this:
"Yes, if you want to decide what other people do in the last days of their lives, or whether they want to end them"
Your quote.....so how does that make your argument better than mine? You want to make her keep living, I want her to die.

Many hospices are not stand along facilities, but instead are visitng nurse operations. I saw a hospice nurse recommend a doubled dose of sl morphine to a respratory comprimised patient. He died in an hour. It wasnt until after he died did I realize why she was very intense with the family. Of course the family administers the dose, not the nurse.

I am personally in favor of people making a choice in their own death through assisted suicide. Many long suffering people have been made to suffer longer than nessecary based soley on other peoples views on "morality".
BUT what is being discribed in this article is
NOT "choice" it is
"MURDER" plain and simple.
When a lucid and terminally ill patient makes an informed desicion to end their own suffering by asking a Doctor to assist in the peaceful ending of their own lives that is one thing. When some hospice worker "decides" that this or that "patient" is better off dead, that is murder.
For you to sit there and defend the supposed actions of these killers is beyond the pale. You are advocating murder for profit and frankly your statement makes my more than a little ill.

Being a person who is not a family member, your statement is nothing more than pure conjecture and your charge of "murder" is slander at best.
