Jackie Stallone, Sly's flaky embarassing mom was there.

Yeah, desperately trying to cling on to what's left of their 10 minutes (not 15, they didn't get that much).

It's interesting, how being an "artist" and an "icon" can absolve so many sins. This is true inside the entertainment community as well as outside.

Apparently, the only unforgivable sin in entertainment is being a conservative.

Jackson will NOT get off if there is reasonable evidence against him, and if the police didn't screw up that evidence.

Even in a mixed-race jury, Jackson will have a hard time, because there are a lot of blacks who do not like him.

By the way, the comment about the dwarf is priceless.

I was sickened to hear Ben Stein defending Michael Jackson yesterday, insisting he doesn't believe the stories at all.

He was on with Rita Cosby and several other guests who were giving their persons of the year roundup. I didn't watch the entire show but was so disappointed at Ben Stein's comments when Jackson's name came up.

Not necessarily. At all. Unfortunately.

And I don't think this has anything to do with race, it is all about the power of the "Jackson machine". With enough money, and enough access to the media, and enough spin, you can get away with anything in this country. Just ask O.J. Simpson and Teddy Kennedy.

I agree.

After this Janet Jackson is not the proper person to perform at the Super Bowl.

I saw a defense attorney (Debie Opri? -- long, dark hair with the type of face one never remembers and a room temperature IQ) who was almost hysterical in support of Jackson and made nonsense statements. Showed to me that the defense in getting desperate.

My sources said that Jackson did spend a big part of the dinner segment of the evening chatting with an unidentified dwarf.

Andre Crouch choir was there?

Seems awkward to me since Mikey just converted to Islam this week - why does he still need Christian comfort?

"More importantly, Nation of Islam Chief of Staff Leonard Muhammad was present and stuck to Jackson whether he liked it or not. Jackson seemed uncomfortable about the situation. "He tried to ditch Leonard several times by going over and having conversations with his family. Leonard would watch and wait until Michael was finished, then hook right back up with him."

I'm falsely accused!

I am such a Janet Jackson fan, I LOVE her music. It makes you wonder about family loyality.

I love my siblings with all of my heart, however, I would cut all ties if I knew they were guilty of child abuse. And to me, Michael Jackson has proved that many times over, in his own words.

So, Janet is added to my boycott list, sadly.

Tennis star Serena Williams, record producer Rodney Jerkins, "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, baseball great Darryl Strawberry, Jackie Stallone (Sly’s mom) and her daughter, hip-hop star MC Hammer, Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath, Lionel Richie, Mario Van Peebles, comic actor Chris Tucker, and singing brothers Aaron and Nick Carter all greeted Jackson, who was wearing a knee-length blue sequined jacket and black slacks.

As impressive a list of names as your average taping of "Hollywood Squares"....
