Of course I have a problem with that. That is not what I said. What I took issue with was other people delighting in other people's pain. Something like noticing a speck in a guy's eye when there is a 2 X 4 in your own.

Jimmyclyde needs to think before he posts. You need to read before you post.

Same here but would you have such an incident alter your vote and/or opinion of Bush?

Are you giving yourself advice? Where did Jimmyclyde make such statements?

Maybe it's you who needs to read before posting. Where do you get the idea that anyone is gleeful?

If he had, I doubt that would've led to marijuana use..

It could lead to behavioral problems however, which can lead to other things.

I'm more concerned that Mr. Environmentalism's son is driving around in a Cadillac, instead of a Prius, or whatever you call it.

I only have good or bad opinions of criminal's parents by the way they themselves act in response.

Like in the report of the man who confessed to beating a paralyzed girl in a wheelchair--mom said "Well he musta been provoked."

I don't automatically indict parents on the crimes of their children. I just think it's a test of character for parents by how they deal with the situation.

Good point, not to mention all that Carbon Dioxide he is putting into the atmosphere by smoking the herb...

Oh but it's ok to relentlessly pound on the Bush twins for some underage drinking. Meanwhile this kid has been picked up a couple times with pot, arrested for doing 100 mph and the media yawns b/c his parents are liberals. Double standard. If the kid has such problems, why is he out and about and not in some institution?

I frankly relish the fact when I hear about Little Gore in trouble.

Wasn't it Albore who got up in front of a big crowd of Dims and used his sister's death in an attack against "big tobacco?"

"it sounds like he may need to be taken in tow and taught to respect the law and the lives of other folks , no matter who his dad is."

Precisely.

Yeah, but it was while he was stoned that he invented the internet. Even that was Ronald Reagan's fault, though, since he openly questioned the use of excessive law enforcement resources for what is relatively a minor problem in the drug world.

Looks like he has a weight problem as well. Turned out considerably different than the skinny snotty daughters. Armchair guessing is he wasn't the favored offspring and has a lot of problems. Too bad his parents are such self-involved trolls. Tipster needs to get off the shrink's couch, toss the antidepressants and play "mama".

Isnt this the same kid who was seriously wounded as a young child in a car accident? I believe he may have been permanently mentally affected by that incident. I feel bad for him and I refuse to rejoice in anything like this about him.

Ditto that. I may not like Gore's politics, but I have no doubt he loves his son as much as I love mine. Let's hope that this incident brings his son to the place of where he changes his course. No matter how good parents are, children come to the point where they make their own decisions. I pray for the former VP and his son (and the whole Gore family). I hope all here who call themselves Christians will do the same. We are be in the business of reconciling one to another and all to God.

He certainly is permanently mentally affected. He lived with two crazy parents and two wackjob sisters his entire life.

it's time for a judge to get young Gore off the road for a very extended period of time. Next time someone might end up dead.

Absolutely. I quite agree.
