Click Here to Expose MemoGate Once and for All: The Nuclear Option

Congress may be out of session, but the Republican National Committee is still in town. The only way to get the GOP moving on MemoGate once and for all is to hit them where it hurts... the wallet.
So, call, email, and FAX the Republican National Committee:
Phone: 202.863.8500 | Fax: 202.863.8820 | E-mail: info@rnc.org
Also, call and email the National Republican Senatorial Committee:
202.675.6000
websitecomments@nrsc.org
Tell them that until the Republicans show some backbone and investigate the Memo, they won't get another dime from you.
If moral appeals haven't worked, a financial one should.

They don't need your stink'in money. They just pass tax breaks for ,say ADM. They in turn manage to funnel money back to the pols. When people possibly get sick from their genetically altered food they give the drug industry a big contract, in turn they supply their local supportive pol whith more money than he could ever spend. This is all between giving themseles raises & passing bills to make them virtually impossible for an incumbent to win. Ah, the wonderful world of the "Two-Party Cartel". And I should throw in how they have given the pass to the corrupt NYSE. So don't forget to go out & vote your favorite (R) or (D) back in thus giving them legitimacy.

"What did they say? Are they getting calls on this today?" I just emailed them:
I am registered Libertarian but I always vote Republican.
I stopped donating to the GOP when you failed to implement virtually ALL of the things you promised in 1994. The Department of Education still exists; the Legal Services Corp still exists; Clinton's "Americorps" still exists.
You have round heels.
I will not contribute or vote GOP unless you aggressively go after the Dem traitors and their leaked memo which shows how they sought to put their party at advantage by harming national security.
Get me?

I think this needs more exposure:
From the link:
America is at war. We are at war against the network of international terrorists who committed the mass murders of 9/11. We are at war against the survivors of Saddam Hussein's regime, and against the remnants of the Taliban in Afghanistan. Americans have died, and continue to die in this struggle.
The leadership of the Democratic Party is also at war.
However, their war is against President George W. Bush. And this war is the highest priority of Democratic decision-makers -- even within the traditionally nonpartisan Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
On November 5, 2003, Americans were given an unprecedented look inside the Democrats' war, when Fox News published an astoundingly revealing memorandum from within the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, describing how Democrats on the Committee intend to use their positions, influence, and access to information - not to help win the war on terror, or to protect American citizens - but to undermine the Bush Administration. The memo describes their agreement to launch an "independent investigation" as a means to that end, timed to coincide with the 2004 presidential campaign.
The purpose of a real investigation, of course, is to gather information, analyze it, and arrive at a conclusion. But the memo makes it clear that the Democrats on the Intelligence Committee have already reached their conclusions. This "investigation" is a sham, intended purely to support and publicize their political agenda.
By signing onto this scheme, the Democratic members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence have abused their positions, undercut American troops and agents in the field, and violated their oaths of office.
This must not stand.
..........
Democrats on the Intelligence Committee have had 47 days to disavow this plan, and have not done so.
Bump!

I agree we must let them know we want this pursued.
But,in the interests of the United States,
in the interests of the men and women that are over there in Iraq, from the US and some of the other 60 countries that are supporting us in this effort,
in the interests of not losing the whole WAR to win one battle,
Is now the time to tear the nation apart,
to tear apart our governmental system,
To force it in totally partisan politics?
Maybe, there will be a time and place to deal with this that is better. Maybe now is the best time. I hate to see this ridiculousness going on, or the more sinister reference to treason going on, but aren't we getting results by the exposure of these tactics?
I want to have more faith in the American Public. I want to believe that more and more are starting to realize the sky hasn't fallen as their political leaders keep telling them it has.
Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth closed, your ears open, than to spend time chasing down and criticizing your enemies. You waste time, don't accomplish much, and your enemies have proof "you are just out to get them".
Give them the rope, let them hang themselves.... is the old saying, and it sure seems as if the door is about to drop open.
Of course, this needs to be pursued. My bottom line, is, is right now the best time? Wouldn't that encourage terrorists?

I sent this:
Where is the demand for an investigation from the GOP?
I havent sent you guys money for a few years, ever wonder why?
Start acting like Conservatives and show a backbone, and I just might again. As of a few years ago, you are just wasting mail asking me for funds.
And, yes, with GWB allowing illegal aliens to have amnesty, under whatever name you call it, that is a reason to vote for Howard Phillips, and let YOU get stuck with Hillary.
The GOP will deserve it.
And by the way, whatever happened to the crimes of the Clinton Adminsitration that people like Rush assured us would be investigated? Like the TREASON CHARGES??

Freepers, put this site address and message on all your state message boards...this sort of blatant power in office affects all Americans regardless of party affiliation...what he allowed in that committee is nothing short treason...he is no longer trustworthy or viable for the job!! Please act now.

I respectfully disagree. The Republicans are going to get whatever money I can donate. I do not think they are taking this memo B.S. "lying down". They're just not fighting it in the public arena, where the hostile press will treat
them as the enemy.
My last note to the NRSC included a donation but a warning that this would be my last donation to the Senate Republicans unless something was done on the unconstitutional obstruction of judicial appointments.
But I cannot withhold money from the Republican party in general or the President simply because they choose to fight these Jackal Democrats in a non-public manner. On another general principle, and perhaps this is because I used to be a socialist-leaning liberal Democrat, I cannot abide the thought of being a party to anything political that might contribute to the empowerment of the Democrat Party. I am convinced that, with the RINOs and warts and all, that the Republican Party is far and away a better place for me than the alternatives. I'll gladly work to change it--and perhaps that is where we agree, that the institution needs some reforms--but I don't think depriving funds is a good way to do it.
Peace,
rd.
