I want a ruffled shirt and a sparkly jacket.... but first I want a comfy chenille robe and soft slippers. Would you settle for the "puffy shirt?"
To: Luis Gonzalez
Pssst, Freddy, I think you have your forums mixed up. You're correct, DarkDrake. Pardon me, while I leave.

BLESS U TONS 4 SAYING SO!
I like to think so, too.
But sometimes that tendency to think of 5 meanings for a key word on a test . . . and usually settling on the one different from that which the test maker intended . . . that phenomenon has been uhhh . . . frustrating many times.
But, as I told my wife to be when I proposed at the Garden of Gethsemene [should have been a big warning clue right there but that's another story] . . . I noted sitting on the tombstones in the garden that life with me might be many things but it's unlikely it would be dull.
She decided after 9 years she could use some dull so she married a co-worker pilot who ran around with a bear head in a garbage bag in the back of his pickup for months looking for an ant hill to eat the gunk out.
Life can sure have some interesting twists and turns!

Fred, I mocked Palo because I think she is a blithering nitwit. The mods just took up what I said and worked on it. She says the most incredibly stupid things, but everyone defends her idiocy because she "loves" them and they eat up the candy instead of focusing on the things she says.
Everyone rushes to defend her like some poor little hurt child, but she says some pretty nasty things inbetween her sweetness and light act.
To: Quix
THAT is where you proposed ? WHY ?
Your wife ran out on you, for a man who carried around a bear's head in a sack, looking for an anthill ? For real ?
You have a remarkable knack for...what shall I call it, without be3ing rude ? LOL
FWIW, I'd rather have a student/friend/whatever, who wasn't safe, boring, and conformist, but had some cleverness and whno sometimes thought out of the box a wee bit. :-)
To: Quix; Robert A. Cook, PE

Why is the sky blue? Blue light wavelength is shortest, ergo it scatters better.
Why are kittens cute?
So you don't kill them after you've dicovered they've gotten into your husband's $40-a-pound venison jerky.

Fred, I mocked Palo because I think she is a blithering nitwit. No, palo verde calls them as she sees them. You're the blithering fool for not reading and comprehending.
To: Central Scrutiniser
Palo Verde? Is she still around?
To: Central Scrutiniser
WOW...WOW... W-O-W , that was spot on, 100% correct, no punches pulled, and c oluldn't have been said better.

So you agree that Clinton treated Americans worse than Saddam? She says incredibly stupid things, but people are so in awe of her "love" that they don't attack the moronic things she posts.
Do you think that we didn't really get Saddam? Or any of the other wingnut things she posts? If she were a guy who didn't talk like a stoned poet and made real arguments and defended them, you would think differently, but you are too awed by her "love" and not thinking with your head.

Seasons they change while cold blood is raining
I have been waiting beyond the years
Now over the skyline I see you're travelling
Brothers from all time gathering here
Come let us build the ship of the future
In an ancient pattern that journeys far
Come let us set sail for the always island
Through seas of leaving to the summer stars
Seasons they change but with gaze unchanging
O deep eyed sisters is it you I see?
Seeds of beauty ye bear within you
Of unborn children glad and free
Within your fingers the fates are spinning
The sacred binding of the yellow grain
Scattered we were when the long night was breaking
But in the bright morning converse again.

Nice shirt. Do they make it in men's style, too? ;-)
To: nopardons
Well, she blindly follows whoever treats her nice, from board to board, from belief to belief. I hope that this thread gives the kooks something to bleat about. They spend their days in a mutual back patting society of wingnuts for so long that they need someone willing to take the role of the villian from time to time and disagree with them.

"Why me Lord? What have I ever done, to deserve even one?"Anyone care to sing-a-long the rest for JimRob? Hmmm? (Thanks to Jim, this song is playing over and over in my head...
Of the pleasures I've known
Lord, what did I ever do to deserve loving You
And the kindness You've shown
Lord help me Jesus I've wasted it...
So help me Jesus, You know what I am
Now that I know that I've needed you...
So help me Jesus my soul's in Your hands
Try me Lord, if You think there's a way
I can ever repay, all I've taken from You
Maybe Lord, I can show someone else
What I've been through myself
On my way back to You
Lord help me Jesus I've wasted it...
So help me Jesus, You know what I am
Now that I know that I've needed you...
So help me Jesus my soul's in Your hands
Why me, Lord?
What have I ever done to deserve even one
Of the pleasures I've known
Lord, what did I ever do to deserve loving You
And the kindness You've shown
Lord help me Jesus I've wasted it...
So help me Jesus, You know what I am
Now that I know that I've needed you...
So help me Jesus my soul's in Your hands
Jesus, My soul's in your hands

My church group from San Diego met her church group from Oregon.
We joined up at Kennedy in NYC. I saw this tall thin gal in the back of our group and thought . . . given my pathologies at the time . . . wow, Ah but she's probably too taken, too picky or too good for the likes of me. But I had to try. Given that we were the tallest of 80 something people in our 3 week tour group, the tour guides always asked us to lead the group with our flags etc.
So, through Rome's Tivoli gardens and St. Peter's . . . Athens and Corinth--and missing having our group machine gunned, grenaded etc. by 5 minutes (where we'd been standing waiting for our flight 5 min earlier) in Athens . . . we end up in Israel--where Israeli security tells us the terrorists are still hunting our tour group to make an example of us to discourage tourism to Israel.
And abandoning all my years of planning to watch a gal for a couple of years, date her for another couple, 7 days later, I asked her to meet me early before breakfast. So, we took a walk down the street from the hotel across the Kidron valley from the Dome of the Rock etc. and ended up at the Garden of Gethsemene which was still closed so we sat on tombstones outside the wall.
She was convinced I was going to tell her our relationship was over. Instead, I asked her to marry me. And she said, "Well, yes! WHAT? ARE YOU SURE?" And the drama really began.
There's nothing quite like courting with 80+ elderly religious Christian folks on a 3 week tour.
Goodness . . . memories are still there. Haven't visited them for a very long time.

Well, I'ved called her out, many times, right here on FR,for her NUTTY posts, been pilloried, by Fred, for it, but there's NOI denying the facts...she's a wingnut covered in tinfoil, so are those who sycophanticly stand up for her ( and others, too, who are way off somewhere in weirdo-land ),and thank you for calling a spade a spade.I'm weary of kooks, who claim to be THE only arbitor of what's what. :-)

Well, she has a pile of gun hugging patriot movement nuts surrounding her at FU that think she is the sweetest thing. Of couse they think we never went to the moon, that mexicans should be shot and that the evil "joos" control the world. Among other more odious things. There is a reason that the fringe is something to be ridiculed...

Far TOO swift a " courtship " and under rather harrowing terms to bolot. No wonder it didn't work out. That is
NO </ B> way, none at all, to decide upon who to marry. How tall are you ?

So, daily posts (with a few specific spurts at the 2000/11/02-15 election period and the start of Gulf War II) are steadily rising from around 1050 in mid 1998 to nearly 3000 today.
So, what are you doing to plan for the future?

The the fringe of the fringe of the last part of the fringe, not to mention the black helicopter/tinfoil crowd, are beneath contempt, should just stay on their own site, stop posting nasty things about Jim R.,FR, and some here, and stay off FR ! That kind of garbage doesn't belong here.
And yes, they ARE ridiculous and deserve ALL of the ridicule anyone declares to post about them/to them. :-)

Well, as JR will attest to, I have some beefs with FR, I am glad to be posting here, I wish a few of my friends were allowed back. But there are some complete and total raving nutters at LP and LF (where I still post) that just make me laugh. Hey, its the internet, everyone has a forum to their opinions and people are free to love or hate you based on your posts, I wouldn't have it any other way....
