I am literally not feeling anything here. Probably strong 3's or low 4's that are very close to you. I can't be more than 40 miles away from you.

The first was short and very strong, for a split second. I would have bet the rent it was a large explosion. Never felt one like that.

It's rather interesting to look at the line of recent quakes extending from Costa Rica to the offshore region of Oregon:

A minor earthquake occurred at 01:03:46 (UTC) on Monday, December 29, 2003. The magnitude 3.2 event has been located in the GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, CALIFORNIA. The hypocentral depth was estimated to be 15 km ( 9 miles). (This is a computer-generated message -- this event has not yet been reviewed by a seismologist.)
