Look around you, the far right is bashing the president right along with the far left, they use the very same talking points.
The last time this happened, when "conservatives" stood on "principles", they voted for Ross Perot.
Their legacy will forever be known as the Clinton Administration.
Divide and conquer...these are not conservatives. No conservative would make a statement like they would be willing to lose control of Congress to liberals for 16 years.

I (along with your constituency) am waiting for your solution to the prescription drug crisis. It's quite simple. Reduce or eliminate the proprietary claims of pharmaceutical companies through federal patents. The companies will have to fund their R&D privately without government assistance and the market will thrive.

"Lets get back to community , charity , church and family again."I am talking about fixing my car, and you are discussing the theory of combustion propelled engines.
That's not a solution, that's a pipe dream.
Government is the art of finding solutions based on reality.

Bush didn't need to mollify grannies at the expense of the rest of America to be electable in 2004.
The populist drivel being spouted about all over FR these days is disconcerting.
The cold hard truth is that genuine conservatism still has little chance of widespread popularity in this country. The only way that is ever going to change is if conservatives of the order of Rhenquist, Scalia and Thomas are seated at the bench in much greater numbers than presently exist within America, and re-define - again - the concept of a Constitutional Republic. Once that ball is set in motion, conservatism as an ideology will gain momentum and expose the present as nothing more than populism disguised as centrist pacifism with a bias against nothing more than extremist leftism.

"It's quite simple."It's simple to type that out on the internet, in reality, it will take years to make that happen, if in fact you could ever make that happen.

Were you born in Hungary?
What year were you born ?
When ( what year ) did you emigrate ?
How old were you, when you came here ?
Where ( which country ) did you attend school in and if both, what grades where ?
Was Emperor Franz Joseph a " Socialist " ?
How about Nagy ?
List the similarities and differences ( compare and contrast )the American Revolution and the Hungarian one of 1956.
Explain why Kossuth and Petofi would NOT agree with your posts and if you are incapable of doing, I shall.
To: Luis Gonzalez
You're right, of course. Don't flash me back to the Perot vote. I had a couple of family members do that number.
It is easy to throw names and the socialist label around. But when the seniors and soccer moms don't have anything to complain about next year, a Bush vote with be 10 times easier.

We do not exist in a political vacuum, and every theory that's postulated in FR is pie-in-the-sky.

LOL!
Noticed you used the word "think", I doubt that you do that very often.
You don't even have an argument, so you resort to attacking me.

It's simple to type that out on the internet, in reality, it will take years to make that happen, if in fact you could ever make that happen. You asked for a solution, and I provided one.
Would the seniors and AARP support my solution? I think so.
Would the federal government lose money in the prospect? Doubtful. They could always revert to imposing (constitutional) tariffs on foreign reverse-engineered products to protect domestic companies.
Would the companies complain? Yes, but only as long as it took to streamline their processes and vigorously seek backing and bright minds to solve the problem.
It's a winning proposition and where there's a will there's a way.
To: Kay Soze
There is a more pronounced one in yours...the absolute lack of an idea on how to approach a problem.

Define " win at any cost ", but, before you do,explain to all of us, just how it's possible for the ultra Liberals and Socialists, in America, to bide their time, use incrimentalism for their purposes, but utterly IMPOSSIBLE, for you and those who agree with you, to refuse to wait, even the tiniest of time, before you dig in your heels and pull this whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa , whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa garbage.
You just keep right on asking irrelevant/irrational questions and throwing up one straw man after another. I can play this game right along with you,and better.
Having " fun " yet ?
