BUMP. A must see. Absolutely the best compilation of the Years Worst Reporting.
Dan Rather [trolling again on the frequency of murder, mayhem and terror]: "Mr. President, if only you knew how
much I and others at CBS support you and Castro rather than our unelected (sic) Bush."
Terrorist-Murderer Saddam: "Mr, Rather, it is absolutely remarkable that you media girly men
will repeatedly betray the USA, your President, and even the free American people during war
and for so very little. You and Mr. Cronkite are truly amazing.
Do you realize, Mr. Rather, that for millions and millions of Iraqis and my captives
I had to gang rape each man's children and his wife,
and then burn them in nitric acid, and mutilate them by cutting off at least an ear,
and then force them to watch me push their children through a paper shredder.
Mr. Rather, I used to have to remove testicles and arms before we have every seen such betrayal.
But you and CBS, NBC, ABC, NPR, and CNN grovel to me ......for nothing.
Thank you, Mr. Rather.
Thank you. We, terrorists worldwide,
are very very lucky to have you, Mr. Cronkite and the others, Mr. Rather."

Oh my goodness. There should be a warning, if you read all these in one viewing, your head is likely to explode. :-)
You couldn't make this stuff up.
Great info to remind us of the lunacy of the left.

Thank you for these shining examples that prove the media leans to the right. LOL!

(Is the DemocRATic party extinct yet?)
To: PJ-Comix
The First Amendment (remember when that was thought to mean something?) made journalism and the rest of the entertainment media above accountability to the government. That is why Jefferson had to respond ("If I had to choose between government and no newspapers on the one hand, and newspapers and no government on the other, I should unhesitatingly prefer the latter") to the charge that the Constitution put the newspapers above the government.
There is therefore no reason to expect journalism to be responsible.
And it is not.
But is it really fair to speak of "journalism" as an entity? Isn't it a fragmented, competitive industry? Yes and no. It is certainly competitive--within limits. The limits of competition within journalism are what distinguish journalism from all other genres of publication. Journalists agree on who is not a journalist--and the only infallible criterion for being excluded from the informal guild of journalists is pointing out the fact that other journalists are anticonservative. Just as magicians agree not to reveal their tricks to the general public. Journalism is a field of ideological conformity behind a mutual-admiration-society veil of supposed "objectivity."
That is why talk radio is not considered to be journalism.

These are a great example of what happens when you have nearly total groupthink in the media.
The ability to detect and filter out sheer lunacy completely disappears and even the most absurd conjecture goes out over the air or into print without anyone noticing how utterly foolish it sounds.
