The liberal news media loves to dump on the Boy Scouts. Do you think one of their little brainwashed eco-activist tykes would have had the courage or knowledge to pull this off? I doubt it.

Hurry, call Ithaca. Maybe they can 'save' this boy before he becomes truly indoctrinated by the Boy Scouts and the homophobes who mentor these young men. (end sarcasm)

What a wonderful and heart warming story!! Hurray to the young man especially and the scouts who mentor and encourage him and the family who sees their importance in their son's life and are happy to have their son and daughter healthy in the New Year.

Happy New Year everyone!

There is/was a monthly "cartoon" in the back of Boy's Life that tells the story of a specific scout's heroic actions. Sounds like this story would qualify...

Kudos to the brave boy, and for his just younger sister who dared stand near the house to help her brother and younger sister.

I hope their parents learn from their children's heroic acts.

Michael credited his Boy Scout (search) training with helping him pick the best escape route

That served him better than some "Cultural Sensitivity" merit badge.
