Dean Cites Terror Alert As Vindication

NASHUA, N.H. -- Democratic presidential hopeful Howard Dean on Friday cited the higher terror alert and the number of U.S. troops killed in Iraq in arguing that he was right to say Saddam Hussein's capture didn't make America safer.

"They got all excited, but here we are," Dean told a town-hall meeting. "We've lost 10 more troops and F-16s are escorting foreign passenger jets into our air space because we're now more worried than we were before."

He's way too busy opening his mouth and removing his foot to begin to understand that this war has more than one front.

This moron pays no attention to anything does he? This is what CLINTON, and/or HIMSELF would do. Bush, on the other hand, DOES NOT GOVERN BY POLLS. He is totally clueless, and gave a big indication of how he plans to govern, didn't he? It's like a thief will instantly assume someone stole something if it's missing, because it's what they would have done.

He's just way to inept to understand anything militarily and God help us all if he becomes president.

I find it difficult to believe that someone this shallow can legitimately complete college, med school and boards.

Dean was probably correct in the narrow sense that capturing Saddam didn't make us safer.

I still don't like him.

Dean said even though he opposed the Iraq war, his greatest fear now is that "this administration will pull out of Iraq too early for political reasons," Dean said.

If that happens, al-Qaida will move into Iraq and become more powerful than ever.

"My fear is that the (Karl) Rove polls will tell him (Bush), 'You've gotta get out, you've gotta get out,' and he'll start doing that," Dean said, referring to Bush's chief political adviser.

OMG.......what a complete dolt.

In his freaking dreams.

Dean is crazy. Dangerously crazy. I thought the Saddam stuff was bad, but now he's going off on Karl Rove wanting to pull out? Just another one of his "theories" I guess.

"We've lost 10 more troops

Which means ten high fives among the Dean staff.

I'm not just saying this, as I know you aren't just saying that, but I honest to goodness think he's VERY dangerous.

If your world view is limited to two weeks, then nothing Bush ever does will be good enough.

Howard Dean reminds me of the wonderful recent commercial for Mastercard with Brett Favre, where Brett plays the Monday Morning QB to the hilt. Dean is a caricature of himself... priceless..
