[history]
January 3, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - An al Qaeda terror team has been plotting to hijack Washington-bound British Airways Flight 223 and crash it into the nation's capital, officials said yesterday. The frightening - and specific - intelligence is one factor behind the recent rash of airline cancellations, including Flight 223 again yesterday.

Might I suggest resuming the flight with 200-300 U.S. Air Marshalls and Delta Force disguised as ordinary passengers? ... just a trip or two ...

that's OK ... we can replace the pilots too ... and maybe catch a few of these goons ... of course, they're never going to stop trying, I imagine ...

And if they hit something we will just rebuild it, and so on. Unless of course, they blow up a dirty bomb over a city. Then that might get a little bit TIME TO KICK SOME ASSES!

"Might I suggest resuming the flight with 200-300 U.S. Air Marshalls and Delta Force disguised as ordinary passengers?"Have you ever seen these guys?
They are the epitome of health and conditioning.
Try as you may ... you can put a linebacker in a $2,000 suit or a pair of baggy dungies and a tee shirt and you'll see ... a linebacker.
A cop is a cop,
a preacher, a preacher (when he speaks)
and Delta is Delta.
Ordinary armed citizens ... the framers understood all of this.

How about clearing out the obviously innocent and flying directly to Guantanamo for completion of screening?

Our militant Islamist enemies are broke. Impotent.
They have tried and tried, however, they are unable to inflict any more damage on USA.
But, if our enemy somehow gets the means, they will pull damage on us. I wonder if they are now so impotent, that such an attack is impossible.

I can understand they might desire to hit the White House at any given time, but surely they known congress is not in session.
Although I think the chatter and intell are both serious and real, I am thinking that A-Q is watching to see where they can find a weakness in our screening and searches of passengers, baggage and the air craft itself.
What do yall think?

Revealing this plot helps explain the previous report that 50% of the area FBI were called in to question passengers of the first Flight 223.

Keep them grounded and fire the pilots, don't need them if there is no place to fly. Alleged proper pc little twits.
