Yes, he's so religious he left his church because they would not install a bike path. Phoney baloney.

Just how unstable is this guy? He doesn't need the White House and waiters, he needs a rubber room and nice people who will take very good care of him.

"His press secretary, Doug Thornell, telephoned late Friday night to say that Dr. Dean did not mean to imply he was some kind of expert."

Some Kind of "Expert"

Dr. Dean is a lying sack of crap, he discovered religion when he thought it would help him in his run for the nomination. And please tell me why Democrats have to haunt black churches and "get down" with the po black folks when they previously havent been seen anywhere near a black church. Why cant blacks see through this ploy? Hillary and Bill put on the black church when they needed it , havent seen Hillary near one in a year. These people using religion while the liberals are supporting the ACLU in its is fight against God in America is enough to make you wanna puke

"An hour after his comments, Dr. Dean returned to the clutch of reporters, saying he realized he had misspoken because Job is not in the New Testament."

In that intervening hour, I can just see his staff saying:

No, Boss, we told you OLD, OLD!!!

"I'm still learning a lot about faith and the South and how important it is," Dr. Dean, the former governor of Vermont, said as he flew here, 150 miles northwest of Des Moines, Friday night on his chartered jet, predicting he would mention God more and more in the coming weeks. "It doesn't make me more religious or less religious than I was before, but it means that I'm willing to talk about it in different ways."

So the fool is actually admitting that he's only "finding religion" for political reasons. If putting one's foot in mouth were an Olympic sport, he'd win the gold.

Can you say 'pandering'?!

...Dean's unbelievable. If he honestly believes (White or even Black) church-going, Bible-believing Southerners are going to fall for this claptrap, The Duck is sorely mistaken. What's that old saying? You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time? This guy's such a fake. If he was really sincere about a relationship with the Lord, he wouldn't be ashamed to admit he prays. And it certainly isn't as if President Bush shoves his faith down people's throats, as Dean and the NYT would have anyone believe, of course. This is nothing more than the usual Democratic political chicanery, tailoring one's campaign to every focus group. Even Stevie Wonder, in a song from his 1972 release, "Talking Book", recognized the shallowness of politicians in a song entitled, "Big Brother", in which he describes some of these charlatans only coming around during election time (yes, I know back in 2000, he shared a stage in either Chicago or Detroit with then-candidate Al Gore, I guess not having learned too much from his own material). Zell Miller has already said he's going to roll up the red carpet when Dean comes to Georgia. Sheesh!

-Regards, T.

Asked his favorite New Testament book, Dr. Dean named Job, adding: "But I don't like the way it ends." "Some would argue, you know, in some of the books of the New Testament, the ending of the Book of Job is different," he said. "I think, if I'm not mistaken, there's one book where there's a more optimistic ending, which we believe was tacked on later."

Oh... my... guh...

Bwwwwwwwaaaaaaaahahahahahaha!!! This guy is just too good to be true.

If you know much about the Bible — which I do...

What arrogance. What did his mother say, that they didn't treat the servants as servants. I don't believe that either.
