There's a theme here, isn't there? First we have these ads comparing Bush to Hitler, which show a childish ignorance of history. They seem to be based on the syllogism: Bush is bad, Hitler was bad, therefore Bush was Hitler. (The S factor indeed.) The ads get posted to the MoveOn Web site because of a now-acknowledged lack of adult supervision and then, rather than simply accept responsibility for this rather grievous error, Boyd lashes out at Republicans, as if his incompetence and his members' stupidity and viciousness were their fault.

When has ANYTHING bad EVER been their fault? What these idiots don't realize is that they are monumentally closer to Hitler with this kind of behavior than the people they hate.

Leftists of all stripes use the same techniques as islamist terrorists and their apologists: Projection... Blame your opposition for what you are doing...

No, they did put this out there on purpose... You can't go to a rally that's sponsored by move-on.org without seeing plenty of "Bush is Hitler" banners and signs. No, they know who their demographics are, and I don't think that they realized just how offensive to people this was, especially those that they want as their friends... Self hating, secular Jews. While this group may hate observant Jews, Christians, America, and Israel, their #1 tie to victimhood is the Holocaust. This sort of statement (Bush==Hitler) diminishes the Holocause, and therefore, it diminishes themselves in their own eyes. They don't want to bite the hand that feeds them, i.e. self loathing, secular Jews, like Babs and George Soros... What would happen to move-on.org if they got upset and took their money with them?

So, rather than apologize, and have someone fall on their sword, sort of "taking one for the team," it's now the Republicans' fault... For pointing out this vile swill...

Projection... It's a pathological problem, for pathological liars.

They had to view the ad -- and -- then do all the stuff necessary for the ad to appear on their web site..

Check this one out. Visit the website with all the ads displayed. Look at how the files are named. Starts with 1 and descends in order- almost. Numbers 2 and 16 are missing. I know for a fact that number 2 was one of the Hitler ads because I saved that file to my disk and that is how it is named.

I submit that those files are numbered chronologically for a good reason- they were meant to be the finalist list. Then when the controversy started and they had to pull them and bumped two others up. (actually, they pulled 2 and bumped 16 up but it was a Hitler ad too so they pulled it as well and bumped up 17). This means that the two Hitler ads were actually quite popular there.

Eli Pariser says the ad only got a few hundred views and very low ratings. This can't be true if one of the files was named "2" and the number "2" file is missing from the finalist page.

They're lying and there's the proof right there. They either forgot to go back and rename the files or they can't because it would screw their system up now.

We could nail them with this just by asking them why the files are named as they are on the finalist page.

Thanks Meek for the info on the Progressive Caucus (Democratic Socialists of America).

Methinks their members are laying a bit low these days so as not to draw too much attention to their inner circle or crafty deeds.

Their "daily updates" are a bit weathered also, the DAILY UPDATES not having been updated since April 5, 2001.
