Roosevelt Henry Reed, 29, just moved into a halfway house . . . Reed got out of prison in July after serving a five-year sentence for lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 16, according to Department of Corrections records. . . . An 11-year-old boy was staying at the halfway house . . . And while some sexual offenders aren't allowed near children, Reed had no such prohibition, Troiano said. Reed has served two prison sentences for lewd and lascivious acts on children.

I hope the father will next take the ax handle to the judge(s) responsible for this insanity (hey, why prohibit twice convicted child molestors from being around children? and why not release them to halfway houses where children reside?).

And if the father knew what this perp's background was, he should then give himSELF a good beating with the ax handle, for letting a child molestor move into the house where his 11 year old son lived!

20 degrees huh, thought you might like to see this: It's about Maine, that's the state that sticks into canada and has almost as many illegal canadians as Arizona has Mexicans.

Anyhow

60 above zero. Floridians turn the heat on. People in Maine plant gardens.

50 above zero. Californians shiver uncontrollably. People in Maine sunbathe.

40 above zero. Italian and English cars won't start. People in Maine drive with the windows down.

32 above zero. Distilled water freezes. Moosehead Lake's water gets thicker.

20 above zero. Floridians get out coats, thermal underwear, gloves and hats. People in Maine throw on a flannel shirt.

15 above zero. New York landlords finally turn on the heat. People in Maine have the last cookout before it turns cold.

Zero. People in Miami think they are going to die. Maineers close the windows.

10 below zero. Californians go to South. People in Maine get out their Winter coats.

25 below zero. Hollywood Stops! Girl Scouts in Maine are selling cookies door to door.

40 below zero. Washington DC runs out of hot air. People in Maine let the dogs sleep inside.

100 below zero. Santa Claus abandons the North Pole. People in Maine get frustrated because "the caah won't staaht".

275 below zero. All atomic motion stops. (Absolute zero on the Kelvin scale). People in Maine start saying, "cold 'nuff for ya?"

20 degrees above zero huh? Well, now ya know what cold is.

Should be: "And if the father knew what this perp's background was, he should then give himSELF a good beating with the ax handle, for letting a child molestor move into the house where his 11 year old son lived! "

He was busted two times for some kind of sexual assault on a young girl. The only thing he assaults now is a box of Entemann's.

Buy him more of them. And don't foget the Krispy Creme Gift certificates.

If this guy doesn't have bail money, we should pull it together for him.

We are witnessing the left's new victim class being born, before our very eyes.

My father about 60 years old 5 feet 8 inches and
about 160 pounds was sitting on our porch.
Two drunks about 30 were yelling and raising hell.
A girl about 14 walked by their house and they
yelled some bad things to her.
My father walked into the house, looked at his 12
gauge, walked out to the wood shed and picked up
his double bit Axe.
He went over to these drunks and hit each a couple
of times. (he was nice he used the flat of the Axe.)
They called the law. The officer came and talked to
them then talked to my father.
He went back and told them they were lucky the old
man was only irritated and not mad.
They moved the next day.
This was about 1950.

Don't beat him. Just cut off his joystick as an object lesson to other freaks. Let him go through the rest of his life explaining why he has to squat to pee.......

Having the strength to see that these kinds of people are trapped in a hell all their own, having to live in their sickness, and avoiding the trap of seeking retribution...you are an example of the highest human potential. Not to forget nor necessarily forgive, but to stare evil down, learn from the experience and move on to better things in life. I salute you.

In Florida, and other states, the term "halfway house" is used for any group home for retarded, mentally handicapped or emotionally disturbed adult who can function outside an institution. It is a good system, but it is hard to staff. The state buys houses in normal neighborhoods and then pays a couple of married couples to be the staff. They live on-site, supervise the folks, arrange transportation, help them learn to get along in society.
In reality, couples without children would be best, but there are not enough who want the job.
When my daughters were 2 and 4, my husband and I staffed a halfway house for retarded women. It was a large house in Jacksonville. My girls thought they had 14 extra aunts. We were fortunate enough to have a locked door between our living area and theirs. Not all group homes have that luxury.
The state is supposed to be sure that there is no danger to the staff family before placing the clients. Obviously, someone didn't do their job....... again.

It was 1974 or so in Kermit TX. My father was 66, 5 feet 5 inches and 155 pounds. He was a master automotive machinist (engine builder). He was also a crusty old fart who hated to be rushed. He told you when the job would be ready to be picked up and if you showed up before then, you likely took your unfinished engine parts with you when he ran you out of his shop.

He had a guy come in rushing him to finish a job one day who became belligerent when told to take the unfinished work and get out. The man picked up a tail pipe at the front of the shop and threatened dad with it. Dad picked up the loaded .35 cal rifle behind the door and from the waist put a bullet through the tail pipe about an inch from the man's hand. He left quickly with a hot, sore hand.

A little while later the chief of police (a deacon in our church) came to the shop. Dad sat in his car and talked for a while then went back to work. I think he wound up paying a $50 fine for disturbing the peace or some rot. The church men's group took up a collection to give him his money back.

When I was a State of Florida Parole Officer, one of the first things I found out is that when cons get out of the maximum security state prison at Raiford (pretty near Gainesville) they head right where they'll find fresh college meat. It's one reason I didn't let my daughter go to school there. And of course the kids and faculty of the area are so freakin' LIBERAL they wouldn't dream that some "B-A-D" person might actually be hunting them as prey.

That briefly changed when drifter Danny Rolling killed five in a few days, beating a body builder to death before mutilating him and his girlfriend. Having recognized that strength wouldn't defeat this serial killer, the gun stores sold out overnight! They caught and convicted Rolling (he's waiting for the needle now) and time passed. Gainesville is just as blissfully unaware that they are still stop #1 for ex-convicts on the hunt. Liberals never learn. The Gainesville area is almost as liberal if not more so than Miami-Dade County.

Good one
My father had a hang up about a mechanic that used
a torch and ball peen hammer.
If he saw shop using them he would go to another
shop.
I still do not know why.
