"Bill Clinton won, the party didn't," railed the radical reverend. "And Bill Clinton may not have won if it had not been for Perot."

Even a blind hog will find an acorn once-in-awhile!

Well. Its the truth if this guy is a loon or not. The DIMs dont want to hear the truth. If this was a right wing radical (according to the media), this would be all over the news... Will wait to see if they report it... NOT!!

I bet they all are starting to realize that the Clintons are a curse for the Democrat party, not a blessing. That realization does not seem to be hurting Hillary - yet. But it will if things keep going wrong for them. Even some Democrats have some brains, or at least this will show if they do.

"Wow, this is the only thing that Sharpton has ever said that I agreed with."

Say what you like about Al, he ain't stupid. If only he'd chosen the path of honest goodness, he coulda really been somebody. I'm serious, I really am.

Sharpton said Democrats certainly couldn't do any worse if they nominated him for president, since the party seems to be flat-lining already.

Clinton may have "killed" the party, but nominating Sharpton would be driving a stake through its heart just for good measure.

Wow, this is the only thing that Sharpton has ever said that I agreed with.

IIRC, Sharpton once accused his "comrade" Jesse Jackson of purposely smearing MLK's blood on his shirt to make it look like he (Jesse) was standing by his "brother" when he was gunned down. That was hushed up in fairly short order by the lamestream media.

Clinton's long lost legacy? Al gives clinton too much credit for killing the democrap party. Clinton however, may kill sharpton next.

Al's just mad because he can't be the first black president.

Nope, he's just revving up to become NY's first black US Senator. I'm willing to bet that he challenges Hillary in '06. I'm saving my campaign donations for him until then!

Nice try, but I'm pretty sure Rev Al was one of the kneepadders fighting to be first in line to tell us all how Clinton was a victim, blah blah blah. The Dems could've pulled the plug on Bubba themselves but chose instead to sell him their souls. Too bad, so sad. Choices have consequences after all.

Say what you will about Al Sharpton (and there is plenty to say), he has not done a bad job in the course of his idiotic run for the presidency. Maybe it's because expectations were low to nil, but he has not come across as a total crazy man. He has managed to show to good effect his wit and his speaking ability. And with comments like the one reported here, he shows some pretty good insight into politics. You don't have to like him or anything he stands for (and, believe me, I don't) to say he has done OK for himself in this race. If he set out to do nothing more than shove Jesse into the back seat, I'd say he has succeeded.

That's shocking, isn't it? Seeing that Clinton was the first black president. /barfing sarcasm

Sharpton is right, and maybe for the right reason (though he doesn't seem to specify what that reason is).

People in the Democratic Party should have recognized Clinton as the @sshole he was after the 1994 mid-term House/Senate elections. After the debacle was complete, Clinton actually had the nerve to complain that the House and Senate Democrats had "forced him" to sign a bad budget/tax bill in 1993. The reality was that it was the other way around -- the Clinton Administration had strong-armed a lot of people in Congress into supporting that 1993 budget (remember Nebraska Senator Bob Kerrey's idiotic rationale for supporting the bill -- "I think it's a bad budget bill, but I'm going to vote for it so as to preserve party unity.").

Sharpton's a jack@ss, anyway. You never heard this from him during that 1994-2002 period, did you?

Though Sharpton's comments are among the most politically explosive uttered during the presidential campaign so far - with the exception of radio host Rush Limbaugh, who played the Sharpton audio during his Friday broadcast - the reverend's outburst has gone unreported.

Says amazing things about the media.

Al, if I was you I'd keep a sharp eye out for Clintoon. You may wind up committing Arkancide if you keep attacking the toon of the 90's.

A new party is being formed, called the PLP (Pathetic Losers Party. The PLP has nine candidates running in the primaries. The leading candidate of the PLP has two first name for a last name. Moral is never trust anyone with two first names.

Wesley Clark,John Dean, John Kerry. All these PLP members have first names.

It wasn't just the killing of the dem. party, it was the hideous torture that took place for 10 long years. He chained them behind his El Camino and dragged them mercilessly down the low road of his presidency. BUT, there is just a little more to the story: they brought the chains and gladly gave them to him.
