Ya know, mass graves containing, so far, 300K plus dead Iraqis.... are these graves not proof to you of WEAPONS of MASS destruction? What do you need to quit being a SH-lover? That he tortured the palace cats?
---------------------
I am not, and never have been, a Hussein lover. Hussein was a useless loudmouthed son of a bitch who abused his own people. He should have been plugged during the first Gulf war.
However, the military action was supposed to be about 9/11, not about attacking a third rate irrelevant tinpot goof.

I hate to break it to you buttercup, but that thread was erroneously pulled. So much for my Christian humility.
Feel free to post any quotes from the Administration directly linking Saddam and 9/11.
By the way, how did all those Kurds die? Power of mass suggestion?
To: Lance Romance
Really Erroneously pulled? So it was re- instated? Tell us? Then again for your sake you should thank the Admin for pulling that disgusting thread. What was the reason the Admin said? "Way beyond the pale"? Get lost. Such as you confirm the Left Wing view of this site that we are geoncidal racist idiots.

"and not even so much as one shell containing one ounce of chem or bio agent."
We'll wait on the final verdict of yesterday's discovery, but it's looking like this might not be true.
Also, the Euphrates did test positive for Sarin
Also, Chinese silkworms (10 times the allowable range) were found with Sarin components in the tips. Sarin is mixed right before it is used, so it is stored in the form of its two component chemicals.
That being said, I am intellectually honest enough to understand your argument. But since this was the most telegraphed war in history, Saddam had plenty of time to hide and move the stuff. That point should also be considered important.

And not one person from within the Bush administration will verify anything in your post or anyone in our government.
Yeah! and Sadaam had a Shark tank with Lazer Beams on their friggin Heads!

I think the important question it boils down to is "Were Americans intentionally lied to or deceived by our president?" If there was no WMD program, I am guessing it would be the intelligence community's poor analysis that is to blame, not Bush. I really don't think he lied to us, and that is the issue.
Left-wingers might say the war is unjustified because no WMD's have been found, but the mass graves and torture chambers refutes that, hands down. Even if the "justification" for going to war was wrong (and I am not even close to believing that at this point), it was still undoubtedly "just".

What Kurds and what year? And then tell me what US policy was per year of atrocity that Iraq committed? OK?

No alarm bells here. Call me a fan of the Pax Americana. As long as we're speculating (which is what we're all doing), I think Condi is lying. I think the administration isn't ready to point the finger at Syria.

Hmmmm, We should all get back to the "Clinton is bad threads", Bush is perfect, and the "media Bias" threads on FR. And then blindly attack everything else as "left wingers" attacking the morally perfect right wing.

"Relevance"?
The relevance is the number of Mass Graves we now hold up as the reason for the invasion of Iraq. But what were the dates that most of the mass graves were made? Where they at times that we knew and supported Sadaam anyway? I would like some dates? Wouldn't you?

Actually, asswipe, it was re-instated. You really should check your facts before opening your mouth, but that doesn't seem to be your style.
"Racist", the last refuge of a person who has lost the debate.

We are there, in Iraq, and that's not going to change anytime soon, no matter who is elected in November.

Burkeman thinks if we would have found out about the Holocaust 10 years later, it wouldn't have mattered.
To: Lance Romance
We knew quite well what Sadaam was all about when we dealt with him. We had no illusions. Love the sickening use of the Holocaust though to imply anti semitism- par for the course. What was it you said to me about racism?
