I decided I'm gonna try to be more positive for the rest of this year and write little bits of my own self written campaign slogans for Bush and for other Repiblican candidates for other offices.

Can't imagine how cold it will be in Foxborough this evening.
Since my team (Giants) didn't make it to the playoffs,

Hi Finest Family. Hope you all are having a great weekend. I'm probably the last one here to have my Christmas trees (obviously artificial) and decorations up. The plan was to take them down today but an unexpected project came up. I'm starting to think that a new fad...the Valentines Day tree...might work LOL

Aeronaut and all...Mentioned a while back about wanting to take flying lessons to overcome my fear. (Mr. D. was raised flying and has had his pilots license since his teens but I am an extremely uncomfortable small plane passenger so we rarely fly except commercial)

Well that's been on the backburner too...the airport manager/senior flight instructor called today to "check in" and suggested that I go up for about a 45 minute flight (where I fly after some ground instruction) just to see if I want to continue. He said some decide yea...some decide nea but atleast I will have a basis for my decision. I immediately broke out in a sweat..but realize it's something I need to do so I said yes. What he didn't say until then that I'm scheduled for tomorrow. YIKES... The weather is suppost to be perfect...so he says...if not we'll reschedule (oh please...let there be an unexpected storm LOL!) So think of me between 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Mr. D. is thrilled...my heart and stomach have been fluttering since I made the commitment. Hopefully will be around to check in if (when) I return tomorrow. Have a great evening.

Wow, sounds great, dutchess! Good for you, have fun. Can't wait to hear how your flying lesson went. I have always been fearful of flying, but I do it. Always thought if I were in control, I would enjoy flying. I think it is great that you are doing this. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

P.S. I have a live tree, it is still fresh, and I am still enjoying it. Will take it down tomorrow :-(

Had the niece over for a sleepover and we made a quilt! Me and a 4-year old. OK, large portions of it consist of fabric paint stamped on muslim, but still . . . It's a thing of beauty.
