The tiniest human

This award winning photograph was taken by Robert Wolfe, Medical Photographer at the University of Minnesota. This tiny unborn child was yet alive at this moment, only 6-7 weeks after the first day of last menstrual period, a just removed tubal (ectopic) pregnancy.

"Eleven years ago while administering an anesthetic for ruptured ectopic pregnacy (at two months gestation) I was handed what I believe was the smallest living human being ever seen. The embryo sac was intact and transparent. Within the sac was a tiny (approx. 1cm) human male swimming extremely vigorously in the amniotic fluid, while attached to the wall by the umbilical cord.

"This tiny human was perfectly developed, with long tapering fingers, feet and toes. It was almost transparent, as regards the skin, and the delicate arteries and veins were prominent to the ends of the fingers. The baby was extremely alive and swam about the sac approximately one time per second, with a natural swimmer's stroke. This tiny human did not look at all like the photos and drawings and models of 'embryos' which I have seen, nor did it look like the few embryos I have been able to observe since then, obviously because this one was alive.

"The swimming human was observed by the Head Surgery nurse and our children, who were called out of school to observe such a unique phenomenon. When the sac was opened, the tiny human immediately lost its life and took on the appearance of what is accepted as the appearance of an embryo at this age.

Six months later, at a lecture in embryology at Harvard University, I had occasion to ask the approximately 150 physicians present whether any had witnessed such a phenomenon. All were amazed and none had seen nor heard of such an event…"

As an adoptee from birth, I'm vehemently pro-life. However, when I look at the pro-murder class of people it seems almost detrimental to our cause to take away their "choice". After all, those who have abortions are nearly 100% liberals. They're murdering their own. Who can argue with that? With each and every abortion of a liberal's child, there is one less liberal alive. (I know that's not a healthy way to look at this issue, but when you're given lemons.........)

Second answer: the vast majority of those who obtain abortions are neither liberal nor conservative, but merely young, stupid and without judgment of any sort.

Please re-read the article. The baby had to be removed from the mom due to a ruptured ectopic (tubal) pregnancy. I would not consider this murder. If this operation had not been performed both baby & mom would have died.

I disagree. I'm sure there are quite a few children that develop the common sense to realize that their liberal parents are idiots, and do the exact opposite.

You can't assume that just because someone's parents are liberal that they would turn out to be a liberal themselves. What's going on now is the opposite of the 60s: the young are more conservative these days than their parents.

An ectopic pregnancy is outside the womb. The baby isn't going to survive regardless. At a few weeks development, how do you propose they save it? Obviously it's tragic, but to call it murder is ridiculous.
