BTW, I just did a cut n paste in Word and sent your documentation to all of my friends and relatives and asked them to forward to their friends and relatives.
Any FReepers like to send this on to DU and git their re-action? I don't have enough Nomex to do it myself.... then again, what the John Efinn Kerry.

and... why, exactly, would I expect the Treasury Secretary to have intimate knowledge concerning intelligence regarding Iraq's WMD programs?

Wasn't this guy the
treasury secretary?
Why is he sitting in on NSC meetings anyway?

"There was no evidence of WMD" More to the point, there was no evidence that iraq had destroyed ALL of the WMDs in its arsenal. I know it is just the pictures the media chooses to publish, but in all the photos shown, coupled with the quotes the media has chosen to headline, O'neill looks like a smarmy, bitter, little man.

So this is why he resigned in protest, right?
Oops, he didn't want to resign and got fired.

And why does he SOUND so effeminate? Almost a simpering stereotype of a gender-confused individual?

from his return to Washington to work for his third President, whom he believed would govern from the sensible center, through ONeills disillusionment, to his firing, executed in a surreal conversation with Vice President Dick Cheney, a man he once considered a fellow traveler. What is up with that? That phrase has a lot of connotations...were they all intended?

Yeah, I chucled at that "fellow traveler" thing. I don't think the writer had the 50's - 60's meaning in mind, but certainly he should have known about it. It is a puzzlement!
