Lotsa fringe lunatic dems hate Bush, but I don't think lotsa People do.

He did barely win, but he was virtually an unknown outside of Texas and people weren't sure about him.

Also, Al Gore, while pompous and ridiculous, wasn't quite as ridiculous as what they've got goin' for them now.

And now, the people do know Bush, and while they may disagree on this and that, they basically like his policies and trust him as a wartime leader.

This was what the preacher on Hannity and Colmes was saying. They are all guilty when they do it.

Good characterization. And I've known a LOT of labor organizers.

Like Dean, they're mostly preachin' to the choir.

When it comes to the whole congregation, they sometimes have a problem.

Wow. Think I'll become a preacher.

Nah! The church bell would ring on it's own if I did that. :)

Clinton, with the help of the media, was able to hide his "purple rage" more times than not

Looks like this story may be intended to let Dean show anger while complaining about Bush and thus pull in more agreement with fence sitters.

They may be just giving him that free publicity and his words are like talking points. Shoot, the question may have even been planted.

If he's not a FReeper, we need to find him and bring him into the fold. He's my new hero.

Gephardt won't do anything beyond Iowa. Clark's the strongest candidate behind Dean.

You're probably right about Gephardt, but if he, or anyone else besides Dean, wins Iowa, it'll make the following primaries FAR more interesting, and cause Dean to have to spend more money that (despite what the media wants you to think) he doesn't really have.

My big dream is Gephardt winning Iowa, Dean winning NH by a much smaller margin than expected, and Sharpton winning South Carolina. It'll be all-out war if that happens; the RAT Party will implode.

I just saw the rerun of this.

You always said he'd lose it; glad you got to see it.

Man...he just started talking faster and faster.

True, and also remember that Algore was more or less the incumbent, which gave him quite an advantage.

Crap! This wasn't supposed to happen until AFTER he got the nomination! I changed my registration just so I could vote for him in the primaries!

Remember Rush saying in '92 that the really big question was whether Ross Perot would be able to stay sane until the election?

As on historian said, history may not repeat itself, but it does often rhyme.
