J E R U S A L E M, Jan. 14— A young Palestinian woman made history of sorts today in the 3-year-old Arab uprising against Israeli occupation. She killed four Israelis in a suicide bomb attack at the main border crossing between Israel and the Gaza Strip.
Reem Raiyshi, 22, managed to get right inside the border security office with a bomb belt under her clothes. According to the Israeli military, she calmly told soldiers she had a metal splint in her leg that would set off their detector. As she was taken to a special room for a personal search, she blew herself up.
"I heard the explosion," said an Israeli bus driver."Then I saw body parts everywhere."
Three Israeli soldiers and a security guard were killed. The blast also injured seven other people, including some Palestinians.
In a video released by the militant group Hamas, Raiyshi said she had wanted to be a suicide bomber since she was 16 years old.
"I was hoping to be the first woman, where parts of my body can fly everywhere," she said in Arabic on the tape, smiling. "I'm taking revenge against the Jews."
Raiyshi was not the first woman to detonate herself for the Palestinian cause, but she is the first mother. She was married, from a well-to-do family, with a 3-year-old son and an 18-month-old daughter.
She is also the first woman to be used by Hamas for a suicide attack. The militant Islamic group has always said that only men should fight — until now. Now it says holy war is the duty of all Muslims, men and women..
Choosing a Cause Over Her Children
At the checkpoint where Raiyshi blew herself up, about 6,000 Palestinian workers are allowed to pass each day to work in Israeli factories. After the attack, Palestinians were quickly rounded up. Authorities said the border would re-open Thursday, but with even tougher security.
"An incident like this will not help us to be more cooperative with the Palestinians," said an Israel military commander.
Within hours of the bombing, a mourning tent went up in Gaza City to prepare for a huge funeral Thursday for Reem Raiyshi.
Relatives say they can't understand how she could abandon her children.
"I love them," Raiyshi said in her video. "Only God knows how much I love them."
But it seems she loved martyrdom more.
In a sane world, U.S., and perhaps NATO troops would be busy demolishing Arab homes in the West Bank, and moving Arabs into Jordan; arresting the entire P.A., PLO, Tanzim, Fatah and Hamas leaderships and shipping them off to The Hague; and recognizing Israel's complete sovreignty over all "occupied territories". But we live in an insane world, so we fight like hell to insure that almost unfathomable monsters such as this "mother", and her brethren, will be given a STATE to reward them for their mass murder, genocidal racism, and terrorism.
Huh? No one had to pressure this homicidal maniac. She was gleeful! SMILING in her PR video as she predicted how her body parts would fly through the air. These people are villains beyond belief. Beyond fiction. Utterly demonic.
Film the whole procedure, televise far and wide.
There would be very few of these islamists who would risk such a fate. The superstitious dread that islamists have of pigs would cause many to give up terror, lest their remains be turned into pig-poo.
Oh heavens no! Nihilists don't believe in any purpose to life. On the other hand, cultures in the Middle East certainly believe that they have a purpose (e.g. to serve Allah). No, my point was more along the lines that acting so stupidly as a mother who would orphan her own children was not the sort of mentality to be inventing new technology and new medicine...

That about sums it up. This is one big cry baby temper tantrum. Toddler theatrics. Only instead of rolling around and screaming on the floor, these mental midgets kill and maim.
Civilized people often wonder how this culture of death can be so barbaric. While it is true that they are diligently seeking the death of as many Jews as they can murder, one wonders how sons and daughters (and now mothers) are willing to off themselves for the cause. Okay they are insane, but...
It may be, that the Pali women aren't too far different than that nut Andrea Yates. They have these stinking husbands who control everything that they do, and there seems to be no escape. Sooo, for the mothers who praise the suicide-bomber sons, they may be truly happy, because in their minds that's just one less seed of Satan (offspring of their charming husbands) in the world. Plus they celebrate the taking out those "seed of Satan" Jews. For this mother, it's the ticket away from the husband.
The entire "culture" is a self destructive time bomb. I just wish they'd be content to drink their Pali Koolaid out in the desert somewhere and leave everyone else alone.
