Good story. I didn't even realize Jack LaLanne was even still around. I remember him on TV as a kid many years ago and he was old then (but in fantastic shape).
During the past year, I got this 41-year-old body in shape by doing 1-2 brisk walks of 3+ miles a day and I feel 20 years younger. As well, I also switched my diet to whole foods and pretty much eliminated all processed foods (and the carbs that go with them) from my diet.
If I can maintain this lifestyle, I have no doubt I'll live a long and healthy life.

--actually he is full of great advice -- he listened to my grandma! Forget all the diet books - eat your fruits and veggies, don't eat junk food and get off your butt! Enough said.

Well not really, but I would recomend that a skilled professional be standing by to make sure that proper technique is used. At least for the first few times.

Yes, we exercised to that through Jr. High (in those awful one piece gym suits) I remember that but I wish I didn't!! I can't believe that even after all these years -- especially when I am cleaning chicken-- I catch myself singing: "Go you chickenfat GO!"
