Coy said she wants to go back to her teaching job.I'm sorry Miss, but your new "experience" has made you unsuitable for your previous position. Of course, you can always apply at the public schools. They pretty much will take anyone, so long as you have enough of those BS education credits, that is.

Uh oh, you cracked the code. They'll be coming for you shortly. Don't fight it. They're gentle if you don't fight it. I'll light a candle for you.

She isn't suspended, she's went on leave of absence to film and remains on leave to promote the show. Can't really do the talk show circuit and teach first grade in Scottsdale at the same time.
This is a pure promo-piece, compare it to the "stories" about Temptation Island, Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire and other Fox "romance" reality shows. Murdoch's crew is very good at writing these kind of fake stories.

Heck, I dunno, why do you keep bumping a thread you'd like to see pulled? I never said I want to see this thread pulled.
I'd say I'd like to see them not posted because it is weird for FR. Pulled, no.
You miss my whole point. An article about this show might be approriate. This is just a PR placed article that is essentially make believe.

The school's mission statements vow to teach students to become Christian leaders and responsible citizens, which might come into conflict with marrying a stranger on television for money. Might? How about, "thou shall not lie"?

From what I can see (I didn't watch the show), she's a babe, has national exposure, and will probably be inundated with job offers and marriage proposals.
To: tallhappy
Now please listen. Articles like this are make believe. This is all for show and for advertising....They are part of the show's promotional campaign. Why are you in such a lather about this?

Well there is a morality discussion that can spin off from this so I wouldn't say it's completely out of place on FR. But people should understand when they're not being paid to be a commercial.

"she was exposed as a lying slut..." How did you get that out of the article? What I saw of the show in fact indicated just the opposite...If you don't like the show don't watch by why do you have to be so nasty to someone you do not know?

That guy is hilarious, and I can just imagine what it will be like when his 'family' is pulling out all the stops. But gotta wonder, where's the incentive for him, is he just naturally callous, seeking revenge on all the girls that rejected him in high school, or does he get paid more if she fails? Still don't know what to think about her, she's only 23, she could just be a good girl who made a bad decision, and just wouldn't back out because she's not a quitter. But really, how could she put her family through all this?
Plus, why was she sequestered for 2 weeks? Makes ya wonder how many other girls went through that opening sequence, only to say 'forget it' when the requirements were made known. The money is only $250,000 to them and $250,000 to the parents, and taxes will take about 1/2 of that.

Yeah, her constant bug-eyed and jaw-drop reactions seemed overdone, like an audition. Or maybe she really is that way, I know good-hearted gals who are that expressive. But none of them would put their parents through all that.

This guy was over the top and frighten the chick. He is trying to show himself to her (jailtime is most states), get her to join him in the hot tub as he is drunk off his butt. Screaming at the top of his lungs throughout the house moaning her name.
The show has potential if this actor guy would just tone it down and not make her feel physically threatened. I like the idea of the show but geesh. Talk about bad casting.

I'm not in a lather. Unfortunately writing forthrightly and directly can make it seem that way.
The deal is, though, why is this at FR? This and myriad other nonsense posts. There are many posts like this and I feel the same about all of them. FR didn't used to have such showbizzy gossip nonsense.
It's fine for TV Guide chat room.

Um, why is a TV show worth posting to FR? Because it illustrates the effects of bad moral choices?
(Un)reality TV shows seem to be 100% garbage. I do not enjoy watching people be rude to each other, or purposefully shaft each other. Were it not for the feminization of our society, the perps would earn a well-deserved knuckle sandwich.

I loved watching her squirm/suffer. She wanted money and fame, and was willing to use love and marriage to get it. She is an obnoxious brat, and got exactly what she deserved.

I thought I would never get caught up in reality T.V. Until Donald Trumps show came along I did not watch much if any reality T.V. Now this show has sparked my interest too.
