Actually, the hecklers were really Dean plants just so he could steal the opportunity of appearing he could handle a situation when it got out of hand.
Too late.... didn't work!

You are correct.....he did NOT know the words. He faked it BIG TIME.........The gimmies will say it is NO BIG DEAL after all it is ONLY the NATIONAL ANTHEM!! However those same democrats will stand in utter shock and dismay upon learning that a certain GOP candidate did NOT KNOW the name of the President of Slovenia!

I think this whole thing was a charade orchestrated by the Dean campaign. How many confederate flags are there in N.H. to begin with.
My B.S. detector is pegged.

It's funny that you mention this incident because several weeks back Chris Matthews asked John Edwards if he'd be willing to answer questions about leaders of specific countries. Edwards said he wouldn't answer the questions because he wouldn't know the answers. I just don't recall the media's outrage over Edward's igorance.

Brit Hume said they were from the LaRouche campaign. Some news agencies are reporting that the disrupters were Republicans. Yes, I'm serious.

I don't like Dean, but that photo seems comparable to portraying Pres. Bush as Hitler. How does it "fit"?

Hmmm, different event that Republicans were reported as disrupting:
Republicans haven't gone unheard in Iowa. Weinberg saw dozens of college-age supporters of President George W. Bush crash Saturday night's Dean bash at Drake University, which featured rock singer Joan Jett and comedian Janeane Garafalo.
Weinberg was close to the stage with a video camera and taped some of the Republicans who came in with signs, banners and chanted Bush's name. They grabbed signs from Dean supporters and one of them bumped Jett, Weinberg said.
