"All, THIS is a MAJOR problem in the U.S. of A. also. Are governments DELIBERATELY creating SEPARATE groups in order to play the groups off one another in order to gain more control over all?"
Looking at it objectively, yeah.

Me and my sloopy research. I remebered vaguely the Malcolm X said words to the effect. Since I was to lazy to actually look through my books, I just entered the search query Malcolm X + divide in google. After that I opened the first documents I encountered. I found plenty of good quotes in the last Interview with him. But since it was to vague I quote from
http://www.colorado.edu/AmStudies/lewis/2010/power.htm, without looking at the actual source. I simply overlooked that. To tell the truth I don't even remeber how I found that site. Must have been a link somewhere
Sorry, for that. Boy, that's embarrassing. Hey, look! Isn't that Elvis behind you?

"The Romans tried to do that in the 4th and 5th centuries with the Franks, Visigoths, Ostragoths, etc. It failed when the army, whose generals filled their ranks with barbarians and then fought each other for the imperial purple, revolted and carved their own kingdoms out of the western provinces." I'm still waiting for the Blues and Greens to set fire to the cities over the outcome of sporting events. Wait a minute, nevermind.

Up until Gaius Marius around 100 BC, one not only had to be a Roman citizen, but a landowner as well in order to serve in the army. The concept was that if one did not own a piece of the state, then he had no real vested interest in protecting the state.

To: AdamSelene235
Depends on whom you ask. According to the socialists, it doesn't because there are no "landowners". They think that the government owns everything implicitly and the people whose names are on the deeds are just "occupiers".

It says the attempt to create an integrated multi-ethnic society has failed. Duh. Since the very definition of NATION is a contiguous homogenous enclave respecting the cultural values of its population, it's hardly surprising that messing with the principle is destructive to nationhood itself. When people realize that a "multicultural" society (an oxymoron if there ever was one) is incapable of respecting ANYONE'S values, they'll understand why the communo/fascists trotted out this little monster clothed as liberal government.

Malcolm X said a lot of things that were right on the money. A bit TOO honest for some tastes.
And, speaking of history repeating itself, once again, whenever one speaks a great truth(ie. Jesus, et al.), he must be destroyed.
History teaches that we do not learn from history.

I read somewhere that half the Dutch population under age 20 are Muslims. It looks like Sharia for them in 20 years or less...
