Wake up! It is a parody and a pretty good one at that!

Laughable for someone to even think Clinton's legacy is salvageable for the next 50 years (if that).

You got me. I read a whole line before I got it.

Thanks. That was funny and appropriate.

Using <img width=999 height=999 src="http://yada.yada.com/name.jpg"> is better for those with a slower connection. If the browser knows the size, it can paint the page quicker. You can find out the information by right clicking on the image and selecting properties before you post.

Try it with this image which I bring in with the html <img width=500 height=697 src="http://webpages.charter.net/timandlauren/harris.png">:

Am I missing the logic here or is this sarcasm at its finest? Comparing Clinton to himself is wrong according to the whiny communist organization moveon.org? Moveon.org is idiotically illogical that I'm having serious problems rationalizing their absurdity.

Impeached, yep. You can be impeached without being removed from office, impeachment is just the first step.

Sorry, can't agree with you that Hitler's failure owed nothing to Stalin.

Before I go any further: Stalin was the worst butcher who ever lived, a scumbag in every regard. Hitler at least had personal virtues such as charisma; Stalin was not charismatic, not intelligent, nothing but a small-minded bureaucrat who got to his position by manipulation and stayed there by butchery. Even as a man, he wasn't much. And in my opinion he was one of history's worst leaders.

That said - Hitler lost WW2 on the eastern front, not the western front. If you take a look at the number of German divisions employed on each front, you'll see that at *no* point did Hitler have more than one division in the West for every five in the East. The Allied forces in the west fought well and bravely and I don't mean in any way to denigrate the brave American boys who risked or gave their lived in that war, but it was Russian numbers across a wider front, that took Berlin.

If Russia hadn't been a factor and Hitler had been able to focus entirely on western Europe, it would have been a lot harder for Eisenhower. Not that we wouldn't have won in the end, but it wouldn't have been 1945, or 1946, unless atomic weapons had been used.

Stalin was a butcher and a brute who murdered thirty million of his own people and treated his soldiers like cattle; Russia's astronomical casualty figures in WW2 were the consequence of Stalin's callousness and stupidity, nothing else. But he *was* the leader of Russia in WW2, and he *did* make one wise decision (to move all the Russian industry in the west, east towards Siberia, before the Germans overran it), and WW2 was considerably shortened by Russia's involvement as an enemy of Germany.

Stalin was a nonfactor for weeks after the German invasion, because he was in shock, and if the Japanese had not gone to war with the United States, allowing the transfer of reinforcements of divisions from Manchuria, the Germans would have taken Moscow.

Interesting and accurate take on WWII. My waiter in the Officers Club in Baumholder, Germany, a training area used by Rommel et al., often greeted us with always the same three words of French. I questioned him about it: He said he was a panzer driver at the age of 14, got into the war a tad late, and wasn't able to stay around to learn more French. The German west flank was defended primarily by pensioners and teenagers.

“We’re not going to live in the past,” said one MoveOn supporter who asked only to be identified as “Madonna”.

I love it!

Dixie Chicks Thread Goes Wild On Free Republic
8/4/2003 - Tad Hayworth

Setting a new Free Republic record, a thread about the Dixie Chicks reached 7319 posts, transforming from a critique of the music, to extensive discussion of the War on Drugs, to several thousand posts inviting Libertarians to go somewhere else, (and several thousand refusals), followed by 2200 posts discussing Evolution v. Creationism, another thousand on sodomy laws, before finally degenerating into moose and cheese references and Monty Python excerpts.

Data mining shows that the word “hugh” appeared 880 times, “series” or “vey series” 1422 times, and references to taking a shower 334 times. Variants of “all your base” appeared a meager 52 times. 11 Freepers were banned, or “zotted,”

The despicable notion of comparing a leader to his actual record is beyond reprehensible – it’s nauseating, alarming, and quite frankly, dirty pool.

Are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!
