Susan Yolen, vice president for public affairs of Planned Parenthood of Connecticut, agrees that publicizing these stories is the best inoculation against the shame many women feel about having had abortions. This is apparently the Left's answer to the Silent No More campaign. I personally know some women like the ones in the article--people who are proud of killing their own offspring. I think that if they are matched against those who feel remorse (and especially against those who did choose life), our side will come out on top every time.

"When I broke my leg I had to announce what surgeries I'd had and I wrote them all down. If someone wants to think I'm a sinful bitch, I don't give a damn," she said. About what you would expect from a woman who has murdered three of her own children. Is there anything more shameful?

These women are selfish animals. As my wise old dad always said, "When you indulge you Bulge." Unless you are willing to kill your child.
Nothing a little 4D ultrasound won't cure.

The culture of death marches on. Hey if abortion is no different than having a tooth pulled than how come people are not secretive about having teeth pulled? The fact is that people who have abortions are not proud of it in most cases.

IMO, they can't accept what they did was wrong. That's why they desperately need to make us accept what they did was ok.

About what you would expect from a woman who has murdered three of her own children. Is there anything more shameful?Four children: "She . . . had three abortions when she was in her 20s and early 30s .. . and another, after the war, when she was a resident in a Philadelphia hospital where she met her husband"
Ah ... the absence of shame ... how liberating. But, God knows the names and faces of each of these dear ones.

A lot of "me and I's" in their stories. Amen Cindy.
Who really gives a flying rats patuti about these pathetic, self centered sob stories.
The baby/fetus had no choice in the matter, and didn't ask to be brought into their problems or poor choices.
As usual, the kid gets the short end of the stick. And these "women" are "grateful."
gag me.

I don't know any women like the ones in the article. I know women who were forced into an abortion by parents, boyfriends or husbands. They didn't have any "choice", and they regret the abortions every day of their lives.
I resent the left's usage of the terms "pro choice, and reproductive rights, because both terms are intentionally misleading. A woman had the right to choose whether or not to get pregnant. A woman has the right to reproduce.

Sorry, the first story was enough for me. Some people are just sick.
"" If someone wants to think I'm a sinful bitch, I don't give a damn," she said. ""
What can you say about someone who thinks like this. Very sad. Her life must be very bleak and dark.

What do you want to bet that these monsters wish that Saddam was still in power?
If they go to their graves with their current attitudes, they deserve a special place in Hell.

We all had this common experience, but we never felt we could share it even with the people we were closest to.If they thought abortion was perfectly okay, why were they ever ashamed?

If the tone of these women comes through in the pro-abortion documentary, the overall effect may be good for unborn children and the pro-life movement.

"Abortion is certainly an important way of freeing the world of an unwanted human being," What amazes me is that these same women are probably protesting Iraq because "violence is not the answer". This is one of the most vile things I've ever heard from a human being.

When will women realize that abortion isn't actually a good "right" for them to have (that is, if you consider it a right at all)?
I believe abortion gives the OK for men and women to participate in inappropriate behavior, which could mean anything from rape to unprotected sex without thought of consequence, because there is an "out". In their intellectual circles, they'd probably never admit this "out", but they know it exists. I believe women's "rights" are advanced when they realize they can control their behavior BEFORE something regretable happens.
Its sad, really. And oh - my favorite part of the article: that abortion is just peachy keen in Europe. Yes, those Europeans are so much more enlightened and intelligent than us caveman Americans. Whatever.
