He can sue the prosecutor for leaking confidential attorney client communications without his consent.

Well since Rush became addicted to this medication while seeking relief from a painful back problem, I think the term "junkie" is somewhat misplaced. It is not as if he was taking the medication in order to get high or stoned. Pain treatment is still a taboo subject in America & one the main reasons people seek out these strong medications on the back market is because many doctors are afraid of prescribing the necessary pain medication for fears of their patients getting addicted to the medication. Though taking the stuff that Rush allegedly has: it is certainly a huge gamble health wise. But when people are suffering in such sever pain & are loath to have the recommended surgery for fear of loosing ones voice (as the surgery would have gone through his larynx) there does not seem to be a lot of options left. Short of discovering or employing an effective non pharmacological (of which there are supposedly some) alternative to pain management.

Wasn't it Rush his self that said if you hire Roy Black you're probably guilty?
That said, Black wouldn't be dealing if he didn't care if this went to trial. Black's trying to get the best deal he can short of a trial.

" Believe it is the latter."
Do you think Black is saying that Rush is not presently being followed up or just that he's not in a court sanctioned program ?
To: tcuoohjohn
Frankly I don't think this story can be trusted. The DA is leaking to the liberal papers for propaganda purposes, and neither he nor the reporters can be trusted.

Agreed. This is just another slimeball DA eager to stir the pot and see if what comes to the surface will launch his political career and rescue him from a lifetime in law enforcement.
But Rush's real opponent is bigger than this jerk DA. Rush has to conquer his own addiction, and if he stumbles like so many others do it will be a lot rougher on him than copping to this BS felony. Not that it's an either-or deal because he could wind up doing both.

My suspicion is that Limbaugh will accept the DA's offer in due time, after he loses his medical records suppression effort, which will almost certainly fail. The privilege for records where there is probable cause of revealing a crime can be pierced, and must be pierced. If he goes to trial, he will go to jail. Limbaugh is not going to risk that. We shall see.

Prosecutors said they consulted the Florida Attorney General's office and other experts before releasing the letter and were told that Florida's public records law takes precedence. Is this the same democrat AG who was algore's Florida campaign chairman in 2000?
To: Torie
seems logical..
his walking is improbable and going to jail is unthinkable..
Thus your plea scenario is the most plausible.

Rush is a disgrace. I've written him off as a junkie no more worthy of sympathy than any other. I'm very disappointed in the wide-spread conservative denial and excusing of this man's disgusting behavior; sounds like the same pleading that the libs used to excuse the former governor of Arkansas's revolting behavior.
I thought true conservatives had values.

How does the MH newspaper know all this?
Publicly released info?

Or is this part of the
(Black says the SAO leaked...
the SAO says that Black leaked)
mudfighting?
To: Republic_of_Secession.
Is that true though?..Rush suffers from ototoxic deafness. normally that take 10 years plus of heavy opiate use to induce. According to Rush his back problem began in 1997.
Few traditional junkies experience ototoxic deafness because they are dead before the symptoms manifest themselves.

PBC prosecutors released the documents pursuant to a Florida Sunshine law request from the Orlando Sentinel.

sounds like an affirmation of the maxim that a Liberal is a Conservative who is about to be arrested and a Conservative is a Liberal who has just been mugged.

Self medication works!
Almost everyone is addicted to some form of self indulgence.
Also if drugs are so bad why is there a pharmacy every
thousand feet or so in any american city?
I hope Rush gets away with whatever he did that was soooo
terrible! And all you anti-druggies can go stuff-it!

Well said. It's so sad to see Rush being splashed all over scandal mags nowadays. The libs are loving it. He's got no one to blame but himself. I don't give him a second of my time anymore.

Candidly?...Most addiction specialists will tell you that Rush has undergone the " three year tune up". A cynical reference to a pattern of behavior among wealthy addicts.
Their consumption gets so high that is begins to impact on their health eg...ototoxic deafness, liver damage, kidney damage etc. They enter rehab to get cleaned up to eliminate the threats to their health and then can comsumed opiates as a doses 10 to 15% of their prior consumption.
