George Carlin, in his own words:

I'm one of the best ones out there. I sell 250,000 tickets a year.

See, Americans measure all their progress in the wrong way. They measure by quantity and by gizmos and toys.

The most interesting thing to me is that the things that people would seem to have the most right to have - that is to say health, food, shelter and a job are the things that are last on the list.

I would not presume to take one thing away from George Carlin, but consider this:

250,000 x $35/seat (SWAG at his cut) = $8.75 million/year

Does Carlin give every cent of his money away?

Then why does he feel I should give any of mine to someone else?

What exactly has business and industry done to mankind that Carlin objects to?

Friggin' limousine liberal®
