"Utter unanimity of opinion isn't healthy for any forum."

What a ridiculous strawman argument. If there is one thing that I haven't seen during all the time I've been at FR, it is "utter ananimity of opinion".

Be sure to thank Southack. The core list was his (or her?) idea and effort.

Thanks for posting Wolfstar. Sometimes all it takes is some reminders.

Just think what that list would look like with algore in the White House... Or, what will that list look like 4 years from now for the next four years.

Do we want to see a list compiled of the record of the next four years for John f'ing Kerry, Howard the Deanie, or George W. Bush?

Those are our choices, like'em or not. Me, I'm taking Dubya.

I just hope that not too many good Conservatives in Virginia, who feel betrayed, (understandably so), by Dubya, opt for a Third Party candidate next November and cause our President to lose the Ol' Dominions' 13 electoral votes.

I'm not thinking of anyone in particular mind you. ;^)

"Considering that the Bush administration has been in office just three short years — and that they had the devastating 9/11/01 attacks and anthrax attacks occur just 7 1/2 months after the inauguration (thanks to the foreign policy negligence of Bill Clinton) — I think the Bush record is nothing short of wonderful.

Many people tend to forget this important point! If I hear one more time ( usually from Clark ) that Bush was "told" that Osama was the biggest threat to our national security and therefore GW was somehow "negligent" .....ummmm....so WHY was it that Clinton-in 8 years - didn't DO anything? (Just couldn't get a supoena issued in time, I guess....drat those liberal judges!!!). And don't forget the delay in intelligence briefings because of the recount fiasco.....and don't forget the total nonresponse of Clinton to the Cole bombing ( and the briefing memo that Drudge featured from the State Dept. that requested an understated reaction to the bombing so that we wouldn't "offend" anyone.......etc. etc. etc.).

It was a pleasure to log on this morning to the computer and actually read something positive about the President.

Some people will never recover.

Not sure what makes it unbiased for you but here is a newspaper link listing many if not all of the same items in this thread posting..... It's from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, not exactly a bastion of President Bush support..... Read and enjoy

Don't forget - Bush's wins, losses [including demonRAT obstructions] and things yet to do

I was talking with a friend who isn't a Freeper about all of the naysaying on FR, and he said, "These people say 'I'm going to vote for ________ in order to send a message.' What they're really saying is, 'I'm so stupid...'"

Over the weekend all we saw were negative posts and how Pres Bush was not a conservative. Guess a lot of the anti-Bush crowd missed the link you just put up -- thanks for posting that link.

Mom, I'm not going to flag anyone here to start a fight. And don't intend to be combative here.

There is a difference between the two threads. The other thread attempted to demonstrate how conservative Bush was from the SOTU, of what he wants to do. This thread is an overview of his larger record since taking office. It is not a record devoid of conservative merit and is certainly better than we would have had from a Prez Gore.
