The young mindless and the old commies, it's the same out here in Colorado (and the rest of the country for that matter). I have been yelled at for taking their pictures, been called a "Chicken Howk", had my signs stolen (the greenies didn't like my "Drill A.N.W.R." sign LOL!), flipped off, spat at, cussed at, etc.. I figure it's the price of freedom. It is what makes our country great. The lefties can protest, and I can protest the protesters.

When Bill Clinton came to Denver to brainwash the kids about the evil of guns, we were there to protest. As I walked along the street there was this long line of leftists waiting to get in. I yelled to them "He's Going To Lie To You!!", and you could just tell by looking at them that they knew it was true. FReeping leftists is really a lot of fun when you catch them waiting in line.

I hope to see many reports of your future FReeps, keep up the good work and put in a few choice words to the leftists for me.

We have this leftists who just loves to wear Old Glory for a kilt and drag it on the ground. He does it in front of the Veterans every Saturday at our Support Our Troops Rally. The other leftists with him don't seem to mind. Let me see, how should I go about this.

How about going over to take their pictures, they always ask me stupid questions. I could say that "Don't you think it is inappropriate to drag our flag on the ground? Don't you think it the proud Veterans over there are offended? Are you not concerned to see our flag drug on the ground?

Maybe I'll give that a try and report back.

I agree with you. Greenwich is also my hometown (born there, lived in Stamford for a 10 year stint as a kid, and moved back in time for two years at GHS), and it really is more economically diverse than people realize.

It is more economically diverse: there really aren't that many sprawling estates of course. I live in Riverside now, will be moving to Ridgefield in March. What's astounding to me is how much property costs here. Unbelievable. Another thing that is surprising is the number of kids that are being raised by immigrant women from Honduras or someplace. I think is partly driven by Real Estate: the prices have gotten so out of whack that you need two incomes to have a decent house.

I am self employed. Two days a week in Greenwich, and the other three days are roving: home, Stamford, Boston, or Toronto. So my wife and I decided to move to Ridgefield and sell our Riverside House. She works up there, and if I'm at home or travelling the other days, why live in Riverside. For 10% more in price, we go from a 1442 square foot house on .17 acres to a 3,400 square foot house on 2.23 acres. It'll be a 35 minute drive to Greenwich twice a week. My drive to Boston will be shortened by a similar amount. And I'm the same distance to White Plains airport, more or less, and you can fly to Toronto 4x per day. My biggest client is based just north of Toronto.

Anyway, houses are damned expensive here. I look around at the companies I consult for, and I see 24 year old kids who live with their parents or rent, and I wonder how in the world they'll be able to buy a house within 10 years.

First off, they were born and raised in America. Secondly, they attend public schools. Thirdly, they aren't from a town as affluent as greenwich, and fourthly, they don't sip lattes. I feel the same way as you do about the way that modern youth is going (i should know, I have to live with them), but bigotry and hatred is only going to hinder the Republican cause. The people you are referring to are misinformed in their political outlook, but they are not infiltrating the system as you suggested. In fact the people you are accusing of being a threat to the American way of life are not even Arabs. Your ignorance is going to ruin the Republican party. America is built on tolerance, and at least in the written word, America will not (and should not) approve of anything else. Note that when posting a message, the website reads "NO racism." Your comment should not even have been posted. It is more dangerous to the American way of life than what you perceive as the biggest threat; stupid but harmless protestors.
