Happily, I didn't see any of the commercials or the half-time "entertainment". I've certainly heard plenty about it, though. I don't blame anyone who didn't know, but those who did, particualarly Jackson and Timberlake, should be facing the same charges any other sex offender has to face. The appropriate law enforcement should've been arresting them, before they left the stage.

"simulated violence against women, a prelude to rape, that was displayed by Timberlake"
This plays right to the feminazis. The whole tale about Superbowl Sunday rapes, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

Janet Jackson was just tired of being upstaged by her brother.

LOL:
Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think it was an accident. Timberlake thought that was Michael Jackson he was dancing with.

Maybe both sides were suppose to come off?

It seemed there was a lot of offensive language in the rap and Kid Rock portions as well. This halftime show started out well (with the Univ. of Houston Marching Band) and then went drastically downhill from there.

Do they think we're all about six years old?No all of us. Just their target audience.
The Jacksons are all about poisoning children. At least Janet's doing justice to the family name.

And oh, by the way, I found the attire on the dancers to be offensive as well. S & M was the theme, in spades.

When a WMD attack happens, we'll pine for the days that this stuff was big news.

I have a couple of questions which may seen dumb to you, but maybe you can answer them for me, one of the obviously ill-informed old fashioned ladies on the site.
First of all, would an outfit like she had on have a snap OFF bra part? Is there any reason for it to be made that way?
And, secondly, do women who have those nipple piercings wear "things" in them all the time, even under outfits that they wear to the store?
I wonder also if the "malfunction" wasn't that they BOTH were suppose to come off.

"Instead, that celebration was tainted by a classless, crass and deplorable stunt. Our nation's children, parents and citizens deserve better." These words, or variations of them, were posted by others at FreeReublic yesterday. Great minds think alike.

An appropriate punishment by the NFL would be to have CBS miss their next turn in the broadcast rotation (i.e., 39: Fox, 40: ABC, 41: CBS Fox, 42: Fox ABC...) CBS' next Super Bowl would be in 5 years (2009) for Super Bowl 43. Way way way too much money in NFL/CBS contract for the NFL to take that kind of action over one partially exposed silicone breast. It will never happen.
To: Havisham
If CBS had wanted to they could have pulled the plug well in time to prevent its airing-live TV has a 7-second delay for just this purpose.Nice catch. I hadn't thought of that.

Somebody on another thread said that they had the closed caption on and that we really should be glad we couldn't understand what they were saying.
