Doug, I don't know if Clinton was in the pay of the Chinese or not, but I do think someone early on identified him as an up-and-comer and began to finance him from the beginning of his public career. I've always thought it suspicious that he went to Moscow with a communist acquaintance who then died shortly after in an unusual accident. Clinton's early contact with Moscow would make me think that he was Soviet backed. I get the feeling that Edwards has a similar identification and backing as well, possibly funneled through Clinton or his cronies.

Here are my thoughts on the subject.

Bill Clinton s relevant whether anyone likes it being said or not and the reason that is so is because John Kerry has indicated that if he is elected president, he would follow the same policies on dealing with terrorists as Clinton's administration.

Policies which in fact resulted in 9/11.

Futhermore Bill Clinton is relelant because what he did in his term made the U.S. a complete laughingstock. Instead of going after those who commited acts of terror against America, he misused and abused his political powers and went after all of his political enemies, including poolitically motivated audits by the IRS against any individual or organization that dared to call him to the carpet.

He made no apologies for this abuse of power. In fact, during a White Staff meeting he bragged about it. This is a quote regarding the IRS going after Kenneth Starr.

"I can do any G**d***** thing I want. I'm President of the United States. I take care of my friends and I f*** with my enemies. That's the way it is. Anybody who doesn't like it can take a hike."

This clearly is not somebody who should be taken up for here on this website and I can gurantee you that anyone who would insist on coming here and taking up for the Demorats after they encouraged and enabled this blatant abuse of power is just as much a sleazeball as he was.

This issue, like it or not is relevant and anyone who has a problem with it being addressed shouldn't be coming this thread. Thaks Doug for bringing it up.
