So THAT'S how we end up with clowns like Clinton in the White House.

No, we get clowns like Clinton in office because of perception.

Clark gives us a classic as well:
"This could be over. It could be a long way from over, and it could be impacted tomorrow by something we don't know about."
Almost sounds like our Mayor Daley.

Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry (news - web sites) rolled up big victories and a pile of delegates in five states Tuesday night, while rivals John Edwards (news - web sites) and Wesley Clark (news - web sites) kept their candidacies alive with singular triumphs in a dramatic cross-country contest.
Edwards easily won his native South Carolina and Clark, a retired Army general from Arkansas, eked out victory in neighboring Oklahoma. Howard Dean (news - web sites) earned no wins and perhaps no delegates, his candidacy in peril. Joe Lieberman (news - web sites) was shut out, too, and dropped out of the race.
"It's a huge night," Kerry told The Associated Press, even as rivals denied him a coveted sweep.
Racking up victories in Missouri, Arizona, North Dakota, New Mexico and Delaware, Kerry suggested that his rivals were regional candidates.
"I compliment John Edwards, but I think you have to run a national campaign, and I think that's what we've shown tonight," the four-term Massachusetts senator said. "You can't cherry-pick the presidency."
With Iowa and New Hampshire already in his pocket, Kerry boasts a record of 7-2 in primary season contests, the undisputed front-runner who had a chance to put two major rivals away but failed.
An AP analysis showed Kerry winning 65 pledged delegates, Edwards 43, Clark five and Al Sharpton (news - web sites) one, with 155 yet to be allocated. Kerry's wins in Missouri and Arizona were the night's biggest prizes, with 129 delegates nearly half of the 269 at stake.
Tuesday's results pushed Kerry close to 200 delegates out of 2,162 needed for the nomination, including the superdelegates of lawmakers and party traditionalists. Dean trailed by nearly 70, Edwards by nearly 100.
Democrats award delegates based on a candidates' showing in congressional districts, giving Kerry's rivals a chance to grab a few delegates even in contests they lost.

John Kerry said this on FOX NEWS tonight:
"Some went off to Canada, some were conscientious objectors, and some joined the National Guard"
I hope that French looking idiot keeps up with this horse hockey, because we have a hell of a lot of Guardsman in harms way right now, and he is disrespecting the many sacrifices our National Guardsman have made for this country over the years. Damn him to hell

He is also poing every reservist who was ready to go into harms way or ended up in harms way, since WWII.
The Marine, Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard reservists as well as National Guard personnel have served honorably in the war against terrorism. That is more that any rat in Congress has done in the war against terrorism.

Howard Dean (news - web sites) earned no wins and perhaps no delegates, his candidacy in peril. He'll get delegates almost certainly for New Mexico & maybe Arizona.
The overall will be something like 144 Kerry, 65 Edwards, 44 Clark, 15 Dean (at most), 1 Sharpton.

So when do the Clinton's start submarining Kerry? We know Hillary can't let him win so at what point do they start whacking him in the press?
I'd bet not soon. They will wait for him to peak and then start the tearing down.

FR link to Cash and Kerry
Newsweek Feb. 9 issue -
A generous potential contributor wanted to visit Kerry's Capitol Hill office. The donor was Johnny Chung, a glad-handing Taiwanese-American entrepreneur. Chung brought along some friends, including a Hong Kong businesswoman named Liu Chaoying. Kerry's encounter with Chung and Liu would turn into a political embarrassment. Federal investigators later discovered that Liu was in fact a lieutenant colonel in China's People's Liberation Army and vice president of a Chinese-government-owned aerospace firm.
A little more google searching on Col Liu Chaying revealed this tidbit:
http://www.afpc.org/crm/crm155.htm
From the NY Times:
Col. Liu works for China Aerospace, a state-owned company that reports directly to the Chinese military, and is tasked by the government to acquire U.S. technology. The Times continues, Beijing's new military strategy, which includes a new generation of nuclear ballistic missiles capable of hitting the U.S., is dependent on sophisticated computers and other advanced electronic weapons technology. In previous jobs, Col. Liu helped market sensitive missile technology to countries like Pakistan. According to official U.S. documents, she also made secret trips to the United States in pursuit of American technology and was frequently monitored by American agents.

To: MJY1288
"Some went off to Canada, some were conscientious objectors, and some joined the National Guard"
And some joined the Navy. Kerry spent his first tour of duty in Vietnam on a frigate miles away from VN. He never once saw the enemy during that time.
He then volunteered (some say was volunteered) to a Swift boat. By Kerry's own admission he thought that was a safe assignment, since at that time they were no used close in.
Too bad for him Zumwalt changed their usage and he actually got into a combat zone during his three and half month second tour of VN.
(BTW, Kerry had a pilot's license. Why didn't he go into the Air Force?)

Yep, at least in our bloodlines there's a big difference in size between the boys and the girls.
He did receive "the unkindest cut of all" - you can't leave Siamese tomcats loose in the house because they WILL "spray" - he still pretends to, goes through all the motions but doesn't actually. But they are still big cats even before they are neutered. Back when I was still showing, I entered one of my males who was barely age-qualified for the adult championship class. He was twice the size of anything else in the ring, and the judge hefted him in the "stretch" and glanced down at his card, said, "Ohhh . . . seven months old. We're going to be a BIG boy when we grow up." Cat said "meeeoooooowwwwrrr."

We got clinton because conservatives thought George HW Bush wasn't pure enough for them.
Sounds like we're getting a lot of that now.....
This morning's Rush Limbaugh update was a sneering monologue about the new budget presented by President Bush.
HERE WE GO AGAIN!
Laura Ingraham never misses an opportunity to bash and or ridicule the President on just about any topic.
Sean's a Rush wannabe and goes after the President following any of Rush's shows where he bashes the President.
