In July 1996 the Massachusetts senator was locked in a tough re-election fight, so he was more than happy to help when he heard that a generous potential contributor wanted to visit his Capitol Hill office. The donor was Johnny Chung, a glad-handing Taiwanese-American entrepreneur. Chung brought along some friends, including a Hong Kong businesswoman named Liu Chaoying.

"I think there has been an exaggeration," Mr. Kerry said when asked whether President Bush has overstated the threat of terrorism.

Kerry opposed the death penalty until 2002 , voted against military action in the 1991 Persian Gulf war, and voted to freeze defense spending.
Bank records would later show that Kerry's Chinese campaign cash came from $300,000 in overseas wire transfers sent to Chung on orders from the chief of Chinese military intelligence, Newsweek reports.
U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry yesterday said Pope John Paul II ``crossed the line'' by instructing pols to block legalization of gay marriage.

The pocket full of chinese cash syndrome has struck pretty much everyone in DC.
This is going nowhere since there is no one not guilty of the same thing.

Um, yes it will.
If you recall, the trip around the atmosphere to John Glenn was payback for his vote to drop the investigation. Remember, the House had already voted Yes, and the Senate was too close to call. By spending millions on satisfying the ego of John Glenn, the investigation was halted in the Senate.
Too funny, but if Kerry wins, he'll be up for impeachment before Inauguration - and don't think it won't happen.
If by some remote chance Kerry gets his wish and becomes the next president one can bet the Chinese will be getting more military hi tech info from our hard earned American tax supported research. Apparently there is yet to be a law enforcement agency willing to prosecute such transactions.

Kerry will never be elected once all of his laundry is brought out, the big independent voter network is allready reaching to Edwards, and Clark.
The mandate will never be reached, within his own party. The upside for George W. is, as this all unfolds, he can customize his message about Kerry, as each tid bit is released through the press.

Is Isicoff playing both sides against the middle? I saw him with Dennis Miller the other night and he just laid into President Bush and the administration.
Isicoff is a real Journalist who will call a spade a spade, no matter what the affiliation. There should be more like him.

The Bush ads will be easy. Show a picture of Kerry and Teddy Kennedy. Next to it, show a picture of Kennedy's car being pulled out of Dike Pond. The caption: Don't let another Mass. Senator spend like a DRUNKEN sailor and drown our economy in red ink.
