Kinda sad, really, that he needs schills to seem 'tough.' This smacks of the 'alpha male' BS that algore tried.

According to a Kerry campaign source, the campaign has been looking to plant local volunteers in crowds to mix it up, and to make it appear their man is facing down tough questioning. "This kind of confrontation pushes him up the line in news coverage," says the staffer. "Instead of facing a tough question from a reporter, the news guys have this seeming give and take to report on." Just goes to show how desperate Kerry is

"It will just be a page of clever insults and shots at the Bush Administration," says the attendee. "The idea came up when someone said that she hoped Sean Penn would win for 'Best Actor,' because she just knew that his speech would be nothing but shots at Bush and bluster about Iraq. From there, someone suggested giving other nominees lines and ideas to use. There is this school of thought that if enough people do it, it will really hurt Bush." If they think this is a great idea, they've been in Hollywood too long.

They really do have a way overblown opinion of their wit.

Try it, it worked so well for Michael Moore.

John Kerry can fly in his war buddies, plant hecklers, lie about his votes as a Senator, swindle his wives, and accept special interest money until the cows come home, nothing will stop the ass whipping coming his way next November

Don't laugh, but I'm hoping that Kerry is the nominee. Not that it's going to be easy (as you can tell by the lies that are flying around) but because once the American people get to know him they're not going to like him one bit.

As Rush noted today, Kerry's current wife is Hillary Rodhamster, but with $700,000,000 to play with! As a non-US born person, I don't like the idea of her become OUR First Lady, especially with her elitist attitudes of 'greening America'.

Speaking of the Ms Kerry-Heinz .. did you know
Kenneth Lay's Kerry Connection
Yesterday, self-styled muckraker Bernardo Issel of NonprofitWatch.org told us that the much-maligned Lay has been a longtime member of the board of trustees of the Heinz Center, an environmental group founded by the candidate's wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry. She's the group's vice chairman, and Lay left the small board earlier this year after serving for nearly a decade.

a plan to provide talking points to all the agents and media advisers of persons nominated for an Academy Award. The hope is that the pointers will prove useful should any of these actors choose to slam the president in their acceptance speeches before a live national audience.I find this believable, because I remember that someone (was it Freepers?) managed to listen in on media jerks actually getting talking-points from the Democrats during a telephone conference during the 2000 campaign.
Anyone else remember this?
